I'll probably hit you up in a few weeks. I'm making sure my workouts are consistent, then I'm going to do a hard drive on the food part.
Last night I played my first soccer game in over 20 years. Granted it was half field, and seven a-side with 30 minutes halves, but I think I rocked it pretty hard. I realized that 20 years does something to reflexes. I couldn't cut back to save my life. It's like my body really wanted to do what my brain was asking, but it wasn't happening. LOL!
Today, my ankles are really sore. My foot flopped around a bit too much. The pitch wasn't very even, either. I did win a few tackles, and could kick through legs again. Felt super good to be able to mostly keep up on the field. I can feel the DOMS starting up my legs. I'm very glad I have a full week of no soccer activity before my next game. I'm going to need it. I will lift as usual, though.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

Hope everyone stays strong this week, but still have a great Thanksgiving! I'm working out without a gym this week since I'm on break, but hopefully I don't lose too much progress. But I've tweaked my diet and will be well prepared for after the holiday and I plan on starting DTP next week. Should be fun lol.

First off... Happy Thanksgiving to you Americans! Enjoy the day of football, I'm sad I don't get the day off to watch it
If It Fits Your Macros lol it's become fairly popular around the forums. I'm not necessarily following an IIFYM type diet, I just don't have any time (or space!) to cook food, so I guess I'm kinda forced to. But it's almost over!!
----------------------------------
I saw someone mention something about halfway measurements... I should REALLY do that!! I'm 90% sure that I'm going to be under 160lbs on my official weigh in day, this week is going prety smoothly! I'm hungry all the time but I just gotta avoid the sugars to keep from caving.BluePrint Believer!

This shot was taken about 1.5-2 weeks back. I am leaner now. I feel like my muscles are quite flat due to the lack of carbohydrates I ingest. I had to go buy new dress pants for work on the weekend as my clothes are starting to look baggy. I must say that is quite hard on the ego but then I look at my abs and it makes it worth it. Diet is everything, I am realizing. This week I have parent-teacher interviews so I am at work till 9PM on top of a commute - makes keeping a sound diet and training routine hard. I was up at 4am to get my workout in. I am debating if I should take 10 week progress pictures. We will see how this week goes and how I look on the weekend. Happy hump day everyone - KILL IT!

Lookin' amazing.
What size pant waist?
How much you weigh?
I was down to 30's last yr when I was low to mid 160's but still had some slop on my mid section.
Lot's of fat on my lower body.
Probably gotta take it down to 150lbs to see abs.
But that's dry & carb depleted weight.
Probably gain 5lbs instantly from eating at maint.
I don't see myself hitting any lower than 155 by end of contest though.

How is everyone preparing for the Thanksgiving throwdown?
My menu has a whole lot of nutrient-dense foods like kale, broccoli, and turkey breast. I'll also be making the traditional dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, corn on the cob, rolls, pumpkin and pecan pies, and beef brisket. I'm hoping between the post-thanksgiving workout and all the work required to make all these dishes, I'll break even or be in a deficit for the day.**OBF/House of Rage Winter-Spring Transformation Contest Log**

TMcDermid, looking great! It is really awesome to hear about the great progress going on--and the pushing through! It's going to get very interesting methinks!
As for as Thanksgiving, I really am going super low key. I'm hoping we have fantastic weather because my plan is for the family to hit the beach all day and just having a beach picnic. We'll take the SUP, OC-1 and our 2-man kayak. Should be plenty of working out and fun. I'll be sure to get a swim in, too.
Just finished another workout. I'm still sore from Monday's game. My feet, ankles and groin muscles are the worst. But I figure as long as I can perform my workout, no problem.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving hope yo have a great Thursday!!
I’ll be smoking a ham & turkey and for the little ones I’ll be smoking a large chicken for their table. Glad we will be doing the dinner at my brother in law’s house.
All will be in foil so I can leave everything there!
Hope what I read on the web (since it has to be true) that cooking a meal can burn up to 700 calories.. I like the “up to” part…
Crazy Thanksgiving weather in Houston. Cook a Thanksgiving meal and get a tan. Should be around 80 degrees.
Congrats on all the people with their progress pix!!

Thanks man, I appreciate it and hope to blow this pic out of the water!
Thanks man. I am not sure this weeks weight but I am hoping around 163. I will find out Sunday. I am wearing size 32 pants with belt at last hole and they are feeling quite loose! Hard on the ego but great in the mirror, shirtless hahaha.
Thank you!!!!

I was thrilled to have a very non-traditional and non-consumer holiday. We beached it. I took my oldest out to the breakers while on my SUP. got an excellent workout there. I've been over indulging in sodium, so althought the calorie count may not be too disastrous, the water retention will do me in for a few days.
I have a biathlon (swim/ run) tomorrow. It's a fun-bi put on by the tri athletes I hang out with for swimming on Fridays. Looking forward to it, especially since we'll have fun races for the kids, too.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

Happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate it
Weighed in at 149.4lbs today (-0.2 for the week) after increasing my intake by 80kcal. Guess I'll just go for broke and increase it by 100 this week and see how it goes, even if this doesn't make much sense to me!
I'm ridiculously anal with weighing food and being consistent with my plan and I was losing 1lb a week at 1900kcal, pretty much same weight and activity. You'd think I'd be gaining at 2.7k, but apparently not :x
