Trying a few new things at the new gym for a change. Not a bad session considering it was Ms Perfect Lips birthday last night and I was somewhat hungover.

darn typo, I though you were superman...well in my head you almost are but for other reasons
This lifestyle is not easy. It takes consistent, disciplined, dedicated effort and sacrifice. It takes planning and focus. Most of all it takes a never-say-die attitude and the balls to keep on keeping on even during those periods when you make no progress!

I hope all is well, Jason. Just dropping in to say hello. I'll overeat a bit for you on Thursday. And you'll be happy to know, that after replacing my old 750cfm carburetor with a new 750cfm carb, I'm now getting about 11mpg

Hi Jason, just saying hello. Other than the broken bone it looks like your training is going well.
Cricket season is upon us. I think Brad Hogg can start to get ready for a few tests, MacGill was shocking. Mitchell Johnson and Stuart Clark are coming along nicely.Taking the "less is more" approach to cardio...

Aw, come on. I shared about my stupid broken foot, let's hear about yours.
Seriously, sorry to hear about the injury. I wish you a speedy recovery. Broken feet are inconvenient and bad for lower body training. When I had mine, I did lots of leg extensions, hamstring curls, and weighted hyperextensions. After I healed, I had no trouble getting my squat and dead numbers back.

G'day Al. Yes shaping to be a good season.
Hi Joe, Ms. Perfect Lips was a big part of my misadventure.
Hi SV, besides the foot, life is good.
Hi Steve, my idiocy will remain a secret.
I'm sure my numbers will suffer too - but I've used the forced break as time to reconsider some goals and will change my program somewhat upon starting back in training next week.Don't believe anything you read on the net. Except this. Well, including this, I suppose.

Hi All, my broken foot episode was followed by a virus - and hence no training for about three weeks. I am back to training now, but just can't seem to get the motivation back to post my workouts and continue properly with this journal. I plan to pop in every now and then, but will not be a regular journaller again at this stage.
Thanks to all those who've provided so much encouragement and good humor and advice.
Life outside of training is idyllic - I'm spending most of my week with Ms. Perfect Lips (probably one of the reasons why the urge to journal is just not there).
