    working everything but chest

I've been having issues with my left pec so I have not been doing any exercises that work my chest muslces. I do mostly bodyweight exercises and a few dumbbell exercises. I have recently added deadlifts to my routine. Really the only three exercises that cause pain in my chest are pushups, dips, and shoulder presses. I was just wondering if only working my back muscles would cause injury because of muscle imbalance. As of now, my chest is ahead of my back, but my back is getting there. I really want to keep lifting, but don't want to hurt myself, which is why i'm still doing things like pull ups and deadlifts.

Temporarily no you'll be fine, over a prolonged period then you could have the problem but I'd imagine you would be well over your injury by then.

    What exactly is the issue?
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

I think its a strain, but not 100% sure. I'm going to rest it for a couple weeks and see how it feels. If it hurts just as bad after that I'll go to the doc.
