Whats up Dave! Stoked to have you following bro.
It was time again. I told you I would come back when I was ready. Im ready. This is the beginning of the end. When I finish this journal two things will happen:
1) minds will be universally blown (I promise this)
2) Im leaving bodybuilding.com for good.
Hope you stick it out til the end bro. It should be a fun ride. The above statement/post does not represent the opinions of anyone in real life. This is the internet. Not real life. 8/15 WEDNESDAY: Legs
8/15 WEDNESDAY: Legs
So I have a plan...
To build myself into something monumental.
To indulge in all of my vain goals.
To become the false idol that I will pay worship to...
and then destroy all of it. (This is not to be taken with any negative connotation.)
Trust me, when this journal is finished you will see what Im talking about.
This journal is part of that plan.
This forum is part of that plan.
You in?
Training:
6:30am – Wake up;10g BCAA; CEE
7:00am – READY TO WORK
See, to live, is to suffer...
To survive, thats to find meaning in the suffer...
NO WARM UP TODAY. I WOKE UP WARM.
1) Squats (2 min rests)
135 x 6
185 x 6
215 x 6
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
Squat is still my worse lift. Much like everything else, I will continue to improve.
2) Leg Press - Power (2 min rests)
360 x 6
450 x 6
590 x 3
590 x 3
590 x 1
3) Leg Press Machine Calves (60 sec rest)
540 x 30
540 x 30
540 x 30
SUPERSET WITH:
4) Standing Calf Raises (60 sec)

495 x 12
495 x 12
5) Leg Press - Hypertrophy (60 sec rests)

450 x 8
HUGE DROP SET:
Drop set 1: 360 x 6
Drop Set 2: 270 x 6
Drop Set 3: 180 x 10
Battery acid in my legs at this point. Three drop sets in a row...still hurts.
6) Hack Squats (60 sec)
180 x 6
190 x 6
230 x 6
230 x 6
230 x 6
7) Cool Down

DAILY TOTAL: 29 working sets 1 hour and 25 minutes
EATS:
-MACRO TOTALS: ~3100 cals ; 250g CHO ; 320g Protein ; 80g Fat
DENOUEMENT:
Legs are obviously my lagging muscle group. I need to destroy them on a weekly basis to see any growth in the near future.
Days like today are brutal on a cut.
No worries.
Still got em done.
THANKS TO ALL FOR FOLLOWING!

Nice workout today. Kind of how I like to run my leg workouts, lots of volume. You should give walking DB lunges a try, they blew my legs up and addressed my weak glutes...also, ham curls/lightish SLDLs should be a staple too IMO. Also, are you cutting at the moment still?... And totally unrelated, but just curious what time do you have to be at work?
Edit: just realized that this was todays workout, thought u post a day behind...Do you pre plan your meals/macros or have you indeed eaten all 3000 calories at this point in the day?xTUNAx CREW

Good to meet you Josh.
My time to leave is closing in.
In these forums, if you stick around long enough with the kind of personality I have, you see yourself become a villan. I don't want that.
Besides, it all part of the destruction
... stay tuned.
Whats up Erik! Many thanks bro, humbling words. Like I said before, Manu has been and still is an inspiration to many people including myself. He was the first person I saw on here that trained with similar volume as me (although much heavier weights).
Whats up Mitch (real name?). I used to do lunges... thats a good call, I might put them back in.
I work in a lab so I make my own hours. Most of the time its 10am to 7ish... unless I am doing a 12-16 hour day in lab which I have done many times depending on the experiment I am running that day.
Thats my rough plan for cals. I might go a bit over or under, but thats my cutting numbers. The above statement/post does not represent the opinions of anyone in real life. This is the internet. Thanks bro, that leg day killed me yesterday. It didnt help that I have been sick lately and gotten almost no sleep.
Congrats on the PR!! Thats a monumental lift! I am legit proud of you. You have come a long ass way from a year ago when I gave you some advice on the reg Nutrition section. Didn't I tell you if you stuck with this you are gonna see huge progress?
Bro, you have the potential to surpass me, Manu, and everyone else as long as you stay consistent with this thing.
