Not gonna lie, I'm extremely disappointed with Roelly. I'm not even a huge fan...but seeing those pics of him the past couple months...like holy F man how does one lose so much size. ugh when i saw him last year at the NYpro he was flat too...


I really want Huh to do well because I'm a huge fan of him, when will he ever show up?
Honestly I don't think he's 100% with diet commitment. some of the videos in the past year or two and sort of hinted at it.

I thought he made some nice improvements, especially with leg separation. He looked bigger and more diced...just not quite good enough in a pretty tough lineup.

most definitely. I just want to see him with some shredded glutes once. He'll take every show.

i hope some people learn to be more watchful towards these, just cause they look awesome in that pic, doesnt mean the normal angle will be the same.

Nothing wrong with gym pictures. Everyone in here is experienced enough to know the difference. But when a bodybuilder takes a very long time off. Going by current pictures and getting a sense of what's to come was more the vibe.

I don't think it's anything to do with the angles. Roelly is a monster in the gym from any angle. Period. It's when he diets down and gets on stage that he doesn't look as great. Same thing with Dennis James back in the day.

The back was improved but he seemed to have the same problem with his inner thights. Things ain't looking that bad for him, he's not looking bad next to the others he might even beat Hidetada. He just has to keep doing shows until he qualifies, however that might hurt his showing at the Olympia if he qualifies.

Rhoden will battle for top 6 at the Olympia if he shows at the Olympia with this package. Evan and Dexter (potential 5th and 6th) will have their hands full with him.

From all the pics so far + crappy internet connection + hardly being able to get on line for the past 3 days (working in China for another 9 days) Rhoden is obvoius winner, Hide is impressive, Freeman is better conditioned but looks a bit flat and his arms look smaller. Roelly looks good from the side his rear delts are sick, looks a bit flat though overall especially on quads and his back looks flat. Huh is a definate mass monster, not sure where to place him.

Rhoden will battle for top 6 at the Olympia if he shows at the Olympia with this package. Evan and Dexter (potential 5th and 6th) will have their hands full with him.

top 6 is going to be a battle this year! Dont forget Ben P beat Dexter at the Arnold.

Yep, though An Nguyen has a lot of potential too. I like that they all bring something a little different. Hide almost always brings in the condition while Huh is huge. An has probably the best shape of them all and will hopefully become a great pro.

What is nuts is that Aceto said he's "only" 225lbs, yet... he looks a good 20lbs heavier, he's not giving any size to Toney Freeman who's 270lbs and he actually looks bigger than Roelly who's probably heavier than Rhoden.

Agreed. He must have bones like a bird, and his overall structure is insane. Even when he turned pro as a HW, he was taller than most in his class.

Rhoden all day. That structure, waist & legs, shape and conditioning are all amazing. Hide brought the conditioning but he's outsized and outshaped (if that's a word) by Rhoden. Should be an easy decision.

Well deserved win. many of us here said Rhoden was too old to make an impact in Ifbb. We were all wrong.

the guy took a long time off, fixed the hernia, got bigger, got hooked up with Aceto. 10 more pounds and he can actually go against anyone in the world. beautiful and polished physique, great shape, conditioning, muscle bellies. I really don't see a flaw just like I don't see a flaw with Cedric s physique

Yeah when i saw he was 225 i lost my ****!... If he steps on the Mr O stage like this or even a few % better i can see him beating some of the more experienced guys. He is only 10lbs lighter than Dex however looks about 20lbs heavier and has better legs than the current Dex. The 'flexatron' is certainly one to watch in the next 2 years

Yeah, you could really see it this past Flex show. His quads are very impressive.

Roelly looks like he drops 40lbs of bodyweight in his cuts....srsly.

Well that's exactly what we talked about.

We knew it would be Toney vs Shawn when it came to the tall men. We knew Hide would show up conditioned, we knew Huh and Curry wouldn't. The only variable was Roelly if he could hold size. He couldn't.

Disappointing showing. He loses all his thighs especially inner thigh mass with no sweep. Roelly does have the potential to be top 6 at the O if he could hold onto that massive amount of size he has a few weeks out but as of right now he can't. He also showed up so flat.
