Just gonna take my daughter to the park and library. So I'll train at the gym tonight to free up the weekend. Maybe bring the family to the movies.
That's what makes you beautiful...
Things going good. Been hitting the gym for about 4 weeks now. Now that I'm acclimated, I'm going to change my routine. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do. Most likely volume training of some sort.

Pretty face for sure. But something like that usually points to health issues, drugs, or health issues from drugs.

But just did chest day today. And this past month, I've been starting out with dumbbell inclines. I've always had a short term goal of using the 100's. And I mean not just 1 rep but in a set as part of my workouts. But there's something about the 100's that just intimidate me cause I still haven't tried them yet cause I have a mental block about them. I can do sets of 6 with the 95s now, but for some reason I'm just scared to try to the 100's. Sounds dumb, but every workout, I say I'll try them next week, and still haven't even touched them. I just look at them and stay with 95s as the highest I'll go. Did that again today.

I think you could get the 100's up for a good 3 plus a cheat rep. The hardest part will be bringing it up to your chest. Once you get past that, it's just like any other rep. I have 2 mottos for the gym. The first is for beginners:
Don't be scared of the weight. Any apprehension will hinder you from getting the most from your workouts.
The second is for intermediate and advanced lifters, but it's the opposite in principle:
If you ain't scared of the weight, it ain't heavy enough. If you stay within your comfort zone, you're gains will be restricted to whatever fits in that area. We all have some fear of the unknown, we should all try to push past that and test our outer limits.

Maybe I'll give it a try next week. But you're right...I need to just get past the comfort zone of what I know I can do. Funny though, on other exercises, I usually don't have that mental block. Its just seeing that '100' on the dumbbell that somehow makes me think I will fail on it. Plus the weight is getting high enough where its kinda of a pain in the butt getting the dumbbell up into the ready position before I lay back.
I usually get them on my knees and then, in a single motion move the leg up and jerk with the arms to get it up to the shoulders, and then lay back and get the dumbbells to the upper chest area. But I remember a few times where I didnt' do the motion right and the dumbbell started to fall to the side and almost ripped my arm off at the shoulders. Maybe thats partly why I'm intimidated to push higher on these. My vids
