Ordered supps today and found that the old coupon code thread was gone and a new one started, I posted in that and now that thread is gone too lol. There was one month over a year or so ago where it was just impossible to find a code for the 10% off, I ended up calling in my order and the most the sales rep on the phone would give me was 5% off, the rest of that month I spent researching new places to order from and found several on par or cheaper than bb.com (with the 10% off code), but then the next month I was able to find codes again and didn't have problems since then. I've ordered supps from bb.com nearly every month for the last 9+ years, I want to continue ordering from here because I'm a loyal customer and like the large assortment of brands and varities that bb.com has, and I like the website, but without the 10% code I'll surely be taking my business elsewhere as that puts bb.coms price points way behind competitors.
I'm not sure who is responsible or why the coupon threads are being deleted and I had no problems making my order today with a code, but it makes me fear things are going in the wrong direction again on the sales side. The ON brand has already been completely obliterated due to greedy price points and I don't want to see the whole sales site go that way.
I've directed so many people over the years to this site but the last couple years the only reason I can give for shopping here is that I just like the site, it offers very few benefits over many other sites now.

Go to the Supp section for good codes. Within the first 3 pages there is a thread.

I need to order some supps soon- nothing fancy for me though. Protein powder, Xtend, maybe some creatine, and some fish oil caps. I also need a multi, mine is almost out. Fish oils and a multi are the only supps I take all the time.
I'm going back on 5/3/1 next week, spending this week straightening my diet plan and deciding on my assistance exercises. I did some box squats Sunday, not surprised that my weights sucked for me."If there must be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace." -Thomas Paine

I agree with darkfact; if I can't easily find a 10% off code for this site, I'll order elsewhere. As it is, it's just barely competitive with other sites when using the 10% off code.

lol I think we need more crew members, I always come to this thread and try to rep everyone I can but all I get is 'you must spread rep around before you can rep this dude again...'
I havne't even been on for several weeks so I have no clue who I can rep now.
Animal I hear ya on the wrist issues, I don't know exactly what yours are but thanks to genetics on my moms side my wrist and ankle bones/joints seem pretty weak, I can't bench over 300 w/o using wrist wraps or the pain I get is too much to ignore, same thing with squats, I can't find a comfortable way to keep a heavy bar on my back without my wrists aching so if I go heavier than 400 I usually start wrapping my wrists for squats which seems really lame to me lol, but I'd rather focus on the lift and where the pain should be coming from, not in the wrists...
I havne't really got anything new lately for my gym, we're still hoping to move this summer and hopefully I get a bigger gym space out of it, we'll know more about that in a couple weeks.
Aside from that I've been cutting the last 6 or 7 weeks, I've lost 18.4 lbs so far and I'd like to lose a total of 30-40lbs before I go back to 5/3/1. I need to get back into some kind of cardio routine, it's been really slacking the last few years, the 18lbs I've lost has been all diet based so far, I still strength train 4 times a week but it's just a generic 4 day split, compound movements in the 4-6 rep range and lighter stuff around 8 reps. I'm sure I'll be back to the heavy stuff this fall/winter again, I can't wait. It's funny how lack of short term strength goals in the gym has led to reduced interest in getting new equipment, sort of like I'm just on auto-pilot until I can start eating a surplus of calories again lol...[]---[] Equipment Crew #30 []---[]

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Pendlay Colored Bumper Plates - 150kg - $400
This is the metric version of the set pictured here: http://www.pendlay.com/Pendlay-Color...ock_p_952.html Two 10kg green plates Two 15kg yellow plates Two 20kg blue plates Two 25kg red plates I am including two 5kg black plates that are not Pendlay. The 5kg plates are split from being dropped and are only good for adding 10kg to a lift. One of the blue (20kg) plates has a slight bulge in one side from a high drop but is fully functional. The rest are in very good condition. I will send pictures of the actual set upon request.
150kg = ~330lbs A new set would set you back $700. I will take $1.25/lb and round it down to $400 for 330lbs of bumpers▪██─────██▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #3 ▪██─────██▪

Well, I think I'll go spend some money at the shooting range today. I really should go to sleep, but don't feel like it. I've got the next 3 nights off, I'd like to be somewhat normal and sleep when the rest of the family does.
That, and the new shotgun wants me to play with it. I haven't shot my pistol since fall, either, so I should spend some time with it too."If there must be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace." -Thomas Paine

Funny, it's the only forum that I check here. I am limited in time spent on the computer and this forum is one of three that I check on during the day."Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do, than by the ones you did" Mark Twain

I'm pretty happy with the Mossberg. I only put 30 through it, wasn't as hard to handle (being pistol grip only) as I thought it might be. I was 20 yards out and shredded 2 targets. The shotgun range was pretty tore up, so honestly, after the targets were toasted I couldn't really tell exactly where I was hitting except. I probably should have used a couple more targets to really see, but I wanted to save them for the pistol. I will buy a stock to replace the pistol grip, but I feel comfortable enough with it for it's intended purpose. I decided on 00 buckshot.
The pistol range was pretty good to me, too. After the first couple shots (a couple inches low, still not bad) I had a decent pattern. I shot 100 rounds there, went through 4 targets.
Now I'm pretty tired, maybe a quick nap is in order before everyone gets home."If there must be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace." -Thomas Paine

It's the only forum that I find worth checking as far as lifting is concerned anyways. Many years ago I'd try to find advice in the exercise and supplement sections only to ultimately realize that taking advice from a bunch of 16 yr olds that swear 'you have to take this' or 'your form must be this' or you're doing things wrong. I'm sure those same kids are in their 20s now still giving out shady ignorant advice to people so I try to stay well clear of those sections. The MMA section is ok, some cool people around there but alot of idiotic arguements too. I don't really go anywhere else at all except this section.
I've wanted one for awhile, the only thing that holds me back is that I'd use it on my own grass and I've never found conclusive info on if it destroys your lawn or not. I don't think I'd use it in the street ever.[]---[] Equipment Crew #30 []---[]
