yeah I'm interested to see what everyone has, there sure are alot of cruisers and streetbikes. I normally go ride out by mercruiser plant, the curves at the airport, and the little rode at boomer lake that has alot of curves just messing around making a big circle around town.

brahs i gotta replace my rear tire soon. whats odd is that my read is a michellin, and front is a continental.. i was under impression that front and rear should match brand at the least (even if different models of tire).

my front is a Conti-Motion, but I'm thinking of putting a conti road attack tire on it.. think it will be a big deal since both are conti's??: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...Rear-Tire.aspx

the conti-motions rear have had some mixed reviews, so what do?

my local shop is saying they can get tire for 190 (meanwhile I can get it off the store there for 160) plus 55 to put it on if i bring bike in, 35 if only bring in the wheel.. that sound right?

Yes, the bikes tires must be the same for the sole purpose of not messing up the profiling.

Whats a decent amount of mileage for a bike to have on them? So far the only Daytona 675's around here have 15,000 (9300miles)-20,000kms (12500 miles) on them going for $7,500-9,000. I know our bikes are more expensive up here, but whats a number of kms to look for? At what point does it start to be a heavily used bike and will start breaking down like high mileage cars?

    - "can you get closer to 2800?"
    (excitement comes to my head)
"no I dont think so, any more and im just going to look for a newer one"
    (thinks some more)
-"ok...ill do it, we got a deal"

so got my r6 for 400 less then I was willing to pay, 2600 for 2003 r6 with 23k, clean title. I wanted a fuel injected sportbike for in town, and this is perfect for me.brb gonna list it for 4k, as I always have good luck with selling to squids

oh damn totally forgot about this thread. I sold my Supermoto back in November and got a 2010 Hypermotard 796. $7600 out the door with 2 year unlimeted milage warranty and I got the first service included.

So far its a great bike, my dad used to have a 08 Hypermotard 1100s and ever since I wanted one. The 800 air-cooled motor is a solid engine with decent power. Only thing I dont like about the bike is that you cant adjust the front forks.

    Will post pics later

i really dont want to replace both so i was thinkin road attack rear now then the front when comes time.. and then it'll match up
They don't have to be the EXACT same. If you get the same profile, brand does not matter. The Gen rule thou is you'd want a sticker front then the rear. Or the same comp Front and back. Conti Attacks has good reviews, cheap and somewhat sticker then the motion but blow out fast.

Get rid of that gay ass seat if you have it. I've got a solo '48 seat (Actually have like 3 or more seats) sitting in my shed.

I wouldnt worry bout it, ive been riding for 6 years now and I havent come close either, nor do I want to. I dont have desire to go to a track, and public roads have too much gravel and litter. after going down once and walking away, im not going down again
