damn, this guy shouldn't be detained he should be givin an award. Why are we punishing our guys for killing the enemy? civilian or not, they would kill anyone of our guys when they are givin the chance to, not just that. They would butcher our guys on camera and release a video tape of it. fck them all, I am proud of this guy, good job hero.

U.S. Army here.
What this SSG did is unexceptable, and has done nothing but further deteriorate the relationship between us, and put more of our ISAF/NATO forces at risk.
The US simply has too much money sunk into all kinds of programs, and a early withdrawal is not something I foresee happening.
My best wishes go out to the US armed forces and our coalition partners as things heat up.

Funny how people defend this guy by saying 'oh well he just snapped, its a mental illness' yet when psychos in America start shooting up your schools it is all like 'he's a kunt, kill him!'
lmao.
'OH BUT WAR ZONE IS DIFFERENT!!1!!!1'
Yeah of course it is, but then it's quite likely the VT guy for example snapped. It's cherry picking at its finest this kinda retarded thinking...
