Here is a web album of my weight room that I have collected over the last 20 years:
http://homepage.mac.com/biggerfoot/weightroom122005/
Some of my restrictions include:
1. A low basement ceiling (under 7 feet ---I am 6'4").
2. I am 43 and have arthritis in my left thumb and left hip and tennis elbow, hence the hooks for heavy deadlifts and elbow straps. The New Grip pads are great!
3. We have three cats, which equals two litter boxes, hence the big HEPA filter (and Zero Odor works great).
4. My wife just put of the Xmas stuff, so I lost some room!
Couple of other notes:
1. The trap bar is a homemade one...before you could buy them. If I was to buy one today, I would get one with the handles due to my height and one a little wider.
2. The 100 pound Key grip weights on my hack squat are great! A 4 x4 is great for standing calf raises.
3. Although Proform stuff has a bad rep, the treadmill is over 12 years old and still gets a daily workout.
4. The Weider Club 500 fits just right in the low basement. I used some pipe fittings and am able to keep another bar handy for seated military presses.
5. I would not have bought a Pec Deck, but I only paid $15 for it and really found I use it quite a bit.

Nice gym Rocket. Mind posting closer pics of your dumbbell set. I would like to see what kind of dumbbell rack you have because I'm also going with prostyle dumbbells too.

The Dumbell Rack is something I made, as is all the blue equipment. Here is a better pic, hope it helps.

Thanks for the close up Rocket. So you're a welder. Just curious, how much would you charge someone if they wanted you to make something like that for them? I'm thinking of having someone make me a custom dumbbell rack but I have no idea what they'll charge me.

I've been looking for a basic bench to work out on that will support a good amount of weight, where'd you get your equipment?

The benches I have are made by Paramount Fitness.

All I have at the moment is a bench with loadsa bar and dumb bell weights, and a swiss ball. Bit basic, but my mum (yes, still under her control) wont let me have anything more. But I am off to University in 10 months, with a massive gym which we have to pay hardly anything for! But also get a punch bag (which aint being used at the moment because it's damn cold here!)

I would love to have a home gym. I'm moving into a new apartment soon but it's only a one-bedroom so unless I put all the equipment in the living room there's no room for a home gym. When I eventually own a house, though, I'd like to have a gym in it.
