    VPX Syngex and stomach discomfort/runs

How many of you guys that have tried VPX Syngex protein had stomach discomfort and diarrhea after taking it? I have this problem, along with having other two guys on this board that I know for sure. I am just trying to see how common that is with this particular proteinz.

Its just really weird that a protein would do that. No other protein did that to me.

Yes... it is absolutely tearing up my insides.

No farts... but just going straight through me. I almost wasn't able to make it home tonight. 20 minute drive home from the gym, and I hit the door in a full sprint to the bathroom.

I've used a little over half a tub, just to make sure I wasn't sick, or it wasn't from something else I ate. But every time I drink it, its a given I will erupt.

been using it for a week now. have had to sprint to the bathroom several times. horrible has throughout the day. no protein has ever given me such stomach problems. super disappointed, but i guess to be expected for $28.

    Yea, its crazy.

I was on a HUGE Dymatize Elite XT Bananna Nut kick for a while. Probably went through 10-12 tubs in 3 months prior to picking up the Syngex on black friday.

This was the first and only protein I've had that ever gave me a slightest problem... but the problem is massive!

I mean I've had a ton of different ones, and usually have 4 shakes a day. And never had a single protein fart even. My friends couldnt believe it, neither could I.

    Scifit whey
    ON whey and casein
    Myo
    Elite XT
    Elite whey
    XF whey
    MHP probolic

I have to be forgetting lots of others too... but never a problem with any of them.

I've used VPX Syngex before months back with no issues but I just recently bought some since it was cheap and I'm experiencing the same issues everytime I drink it.
I've used it for about a week now just to make sure it wasn't something else causing it but now I know it's definitely the Syngex. I hope the planet takes my order back too.

It's unreal! I actually made a thread about this not too long ago asking what was in it so I could avoid any other proteins with similar ingredients! I have been bulking for 1.5 years now, my calorie maintenance is HIGH. I have never, ever , ever had any problems with food until last July I ordered VPX. All of a sudden I had bad stomach discomfort , lost my appetite and smelt like a cow out in pasture. I stopped taking it got better. But, I figured just maybe it was something else that time, and VPX was cheap, so I got it again. Two tubs sent over here. Again, the worst stomach problems, horrendous smells out of a horror movie, and stomach discomfort that lasted an extra two days after taking it. The stuff is POISON I have concluded. Never, have I had problems with scivation, dymatize, optimum, or any other brand. Actually, I wont buy from non GMPC compliant companies anymore due to syngex.

I've never had issues even remotely close to what I have experienced with Syngex.

I really hope I can return the unopened tub at the very least.

Yeah they told me that I can only return the unopened tubs. So I gave the opened one to my buddy. And I don't think I will return it back to them, its like $15 just to ship it back. Unless I am unaware of a cheap way to ship things..

I think it all boils down to your lactose tolerance. Cheap whey proteins such as Syngex will use cheap raw materials like low grade whey protein concentrate with high lactose content. Guys without lactose issues can digest it all day long, guys who can't deal with a Syngex induced lactose overdose will be going through lots of toilet paper. If you insist on buying it or finishing what you have, buy some digestive enzymes to take with the protein.

I mean I have no problem drinking milk or diary products so I am not sure why the vpx would make me **** like crazy. What digestive enzymes would you recommend?

Not even worth the risk my friend. Just chuck it, I lost 120 bucks on it after shipping. That's how bad it was for me, I simply chucked both tubs out.

    Question

The c and c flavor is nasty! Tried to finish 1 shake and couldn't do it. Dumped it in the sink. As for tub, I tossed it in trash. Worst protien ever. My stomach felt like crap a few hours after. How does a good company get away with producing such a terrible protein.

Yeah, I guess this is one area where GNC comes out ahead...even though I never buy from them unless there's a glitch.

I don't think it tastes bad but nowhere near as good as myofusion.

It just sucks that it does this to my stomach. I gave it a few more days thinking my body would adjust. Nope problem is still the same. Last night I went to the toilet three times and had the runs so bad it felt like urinating out my ass!
I have had plenty of other proteins and none have ever done this me.

I emailed VPX to see if anything could be done about a refund. It's been two days and haven't heard anything back yet...
