Have heard of them. Not sure how they compare to SCARprin, but for the price I'd say they're definitely worth a try.
And as for the patches. I'm sure any patches would work tbh. I recommend Cica Care because (unless I'm mistaken) they have always kind of been the "original silicone patches" But any silicone patch would be better than none, and with the combination of a silicone gel I'm sure you'll see some really good results with your scars.
also, just got 30k negged for another post so gonna be answering questions best I can for the next hour or so try and make up for it.

I think around $50 USD on Amazon? I posted the prices on previous page. Might be cheaper elsewhere, not really sure ( I buy mine from Aussie, but will be cheaper buying from America, but most don't ship here)
Also someone posted a link to a different brand who also make Silicone sheets above - they may be cheaper if money is an issue.Discipline is remembering what you want.

I have some major scars and i never used anything to help prevent them. I kind of wish I would have but their already 5 years old. I figured if I was going to have three 14" scars there wasnt much use in hiding them. Theyre pretty intense looking but ive gotten used to living with them. Not much I can do now. This is my left forearm. I have identical scars on my left knee and the outer side of my right leg.I also have two 6" scars on my right forearm. Scarred for life brah.
The round area in the middle is a skin graft btw

Thanks for posting a photo, makes things easier than trying to imagine everyone's scars.
Not sure if you were really asking for advice or not, but I'll give my 2c on it anyway if you want.
That's certainly a long scar, but in saying that it looks like it healed pretty well. Doesn't look raised or too red. Top bit looks like a bit of an indent? Honestly it looks like it would've been a PITA to try and use something on, especially if you have other ones as well. Wouldn't be worth trying to use silicone sheets on it, unless you bought a couple packs of them. A gel/cream may help, but if you've learned to live with them then it might not be worth the hassle.
Scars are just one of those things that you can do the best you can to make them look nicer, but you just have to learn that you're always going to have them. And it sounds like your a good inspiration for that. So props for thatDiscipline is remembering what you want.

Never heard of it.
Just looked it up, and it appears you need really small, (to be honest) hardly noticeable scars for it to work. It says you're not a candidate for it if you have:
Keloid Scar
Raised, Dark Edges
Hyperpigmentation
Sounds good in theory, but I guess there's a reason why it's not a widely recommended treatment.Discipline is remembering what you want.

I had surgery on my head,
The scar from the surgery isnt that bad honestly, but right along the line its slightly pink and hair doesnt really grow so it kinda looks awkward when I have really short hair.
I hate having longer hair, what you think I can do to make it more the color of my skin, even with all the hair surrounding it? Any way to make my hair start growing back there too?

The pinkness should fade over time. As far as hair growth - AFAIK hair will never grow where a scar is. If you look on the first page at my photos, one of my scars is a chunk out of my sideburn. When my hair gets long (and like you I prefer it short) the hair above it comes down over it, but where the actual scar is I'll never have hair grow there.
I have heard you can get hair implants (which leaves a scar elsewhere on your head normally) but there is still a chance the implanted hair will die and not grow at the scar site.
Because your scar is in your hair, sticking silicone sheets to it would be a PITA. You could certainly try it, and it may help with the redness (Not sure if that photo is recent, but it looks like a fairly "nice" scar, so if it's less than a year old I'd say it will eventually fade into being less and less red and barely noticeable quite possibly like the small whiter one behind it) otherwise one of the creams/gels in the OP may help.Discipline is remembering what you want.

Wonder why OP got banned...
I saw this thread a week ago and bought Cica Care. Should come in a day or 2...
I have an 11 year old 35 stitched scar from an accident on my forehead. I used Mederma on it 2 years ago for approximately 1 year. Since I've just used my retin A cream to put on for massaging. One half of scar is fine but the other half is still raised even though I've seen a 40% improvement since 2 years ago.
Will let you guys knowhttp://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=142538111

It's only been 9 days but it's improved tremendously! (Knock on Wood) Hopefully it keeps pregressing. Can't believe it's working on a mature scar, even after seeing some improvement with mederma/massage for 1 a year before. I had been massaging the last 8 months, 2 times per day for 5 minutes with no improvement and now I use this silicone sheet and I'm seeing daily progress!
