My dad got LASIK about ten years ago and his night driving vision has never been the same. He just doesn't drive at night anymore, it's too dangerous for everyone on the road. From what I hear for a lot of people this is permanent.

Hey you never know it may get better. Everyone is different and you're still young, my dad was in his sixties when he had the procedure. Try using clear non-prescription polarized lenses to block glare and errant light (clear glasses for night driving).

forgot to post this earlier. I saw a moving hit and run this morning on my way to work. Some dude in a Mazda 3 was driving like an a**hole weaving thru lanes and whatnot. Mazda guy tried to change lanes again but there was a Range Rover breaking in the lane he wanted. Right in front of me he tagged the backend of the Range Rover and both got squirrly cuz of the rain/snow/slush. Range Rover corrected pretty quickly but the Mazda was fishtailing all over two lanes. Then it seemed like the Mazda guy said "fuk it" and dove across 3 lanes to hit the exit ramp.

I was freaking out thinking I was about to get into a multi car pileup... the funny thing was that as I caught up to the Range Rover (which had a huge bent in the back end) the driver was all leaned back as if "not a single fuk was given"
