haynesworth was released, i really think bears should pick him up. As much as people hate him, hes still a dominant force and urlacher/briggs/peppers would keep him on check.
We still have playoff hopes, a definite pass rush would secure it.

so you would be against having him in third and long situations? hes not going to be a starter, he would be implemented as a situational lineman. I'm just saying, 750k is peanuts to get a linemen that can do damage. Washington overworked on a losing team (pre shanahan) and NE he did create double teams. I mean, if your going to piss money away on roy williams, you should at least consider the possibility of getting haynesworth

Correct not even on 3rd downs, not even to just stand on the sideline.
He's washed up lazy, he's a bum and doesn't care, so why should the Bears invest even a cent in him?
Trust me I'm no Roy Williams backer at all, but investing money in him is wiser then Haynesworth it's not even debatable, IMO.

This. Haynesworth is the Jamarcus Russell of defensive players. He got paid, now he doesn't give a sh!t. Idk if I've ever seen a player with such little heart. It's frickin sad. I'd rather sign Dusty Dvoracek and watch him get hurt for season again than sign Haynesworth.

he did pretty well with the patriots. Look at the videos, his stats doesn't show it but hes taking a LOT of double teams and pushing them back. He's a pure pass rusher and we should use him as that.
Look, I dont like haynesworth, but he will upgrade the team enough while the bears are in the playoff hunt. I do think you are putting personal hatred towards him over logical choice. Pay haynesworth squat, make him happy and let him play only on pass rushes, and bears will reap the benefits. This is about winning

not worried, carimi would have been good down the stretch, but at the same time it would be nice for him to be fully healed for next year.

Ok and now Gabe is out for the year, this sucks!
we cannot lose any linemen now.
on the plus side the chargers are down 4 starting olinemen so Rivers better prepare his anus because Peppers is going to destroy him.
