closer to mexico and wasn't he pretty notorious for partying while at barca? New York is a playground for someone as rich as he is.
Steven Gerrard pictures are flying around of him in a leg cast. He shouldn't go to the Euros IMO. I hope Capello plays Cleverley/Whilshere/Parker, think we would have a chance to reach the semis with that midfield. Lots of energy and three players who aren't afraid to put a foot in

2 players were hurt the one who got punched and the keeper who had a firecracker thrown at him a little while after.
what's fu**ed up is that the hooligan who did punched the player has a history of jumping into the field to attack players apparently he'd done it last year(man approaches after I finish squatting 135 for 5 reps as a warmup and says) "squats cause hemmroids dude." - helix35

“Can Arsenal finish above us? No. No chance,” he said. “We’re better. They’ve had some good results recently but we’ve also got six wins and one draw now. I’m not afraid of them. I think we are the better squad, we have a bigger squad. But it’s a long season.”

Other than the "no chance" part, nothing he said was incorrect. We are a better squad with more depth, recent head-to-head results show this. If Parker and Adebayor were around for the first games of the season we'd have done much better vs the Manchester clubs and gotten at least a few points from those games.
Joey Barton tweet: "What a footballer Luka Modric is, hats off. Best in the league by a mile."

let's be cereal, you played a newly assembled arsenal team that was still working out a lot of kinks. we've consistently been improving since then and to act like arsenal aren't much better now than they were 4 weeks ago is delusion at it's finest.
not saying we're miles ahead of spurs, but VDV's arrogance is lol-worthy and rather ignorant.

exactly. we were very poor from the beginning of the season and through to the Spuds match at the beginning of October. even the matches we did win prior to the Spuds match were very very scrappy wins that we didn't play well in. since then, we've been getting better and better with every match. i certainly wouldn't go as far as to say we're title contenders at this point but we're still better than Spurs and our recent form has showed that.
it's going to take more than a derby win and being above us in the table in late October/early November to say there is no chance we'll finish above Spuds. when was the last time Spurs finished above Arsenal anyways?
Tottenham is the noisy neighbor just like City but City was very fortunate to get a sugar daddy owner. neither club would ever surpass their superior rivals without a massive injection of cash. and as far as i know, Tottenham don't have a sugar daddy owner and have to compete the fair way..... meaning they'll finish below us come the end of the season.
by the way, i never seem to hear about Gareth Bale anymore..... i guess his multi-month hype from those two Tottenham-Inter matches has finally died off?
what a trashy club with no history. take a hike van der vaaaaart

because scoring two goals against a club that will finish in the bottom half of the table makes him the world class super-star Spurs fans were claiming he was last winter.
Harry Redknapp of Tottenham puts £80m price tag on Gareth Bale's head
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...ur-gareth-bale
loooolololol.... anyone involved in the Spurs organization..... lulz
Spurs logic: (player has 2 good matches) + (can run really fast down the wing) - (any other ability) = £80m price tag

Tottenham have a better midfield than Arsenal
Defence arguably even
Van Persie is much better than any Spurs striker, but then again he's going to Spain in January so who cares

I know it's only November, but there is almost no chance City does not win the league this year. A 28 goal differential after ten games? Is this real life? I almost hope they progress through to the knock-out round in UCL to add more fixtures to their schedule and slow them down. Doubt it would affect them much though.
