Great Thread.
Anderson versus okami is going to be great. I think Okami is going to wake up with a soar head, Anderson has the best movement i have ever seen. He reminds me of RJJ with his blinding speed.
Palhares is going to cripple poor dan miller who is being fed to the wolf. Palhares is an absolute savage of a fighter who just preys on other fighters limbs. It is disgusting that he isn't respected by the UFC management the guy has the best chance in the division to mesh up Silva.
Forrest shogun is going to be an awesome battle. They are both so well balanced and i could see it going either way. Pride shogun would give him a beating but no it is so close its hard to judge. If the fight was in vegas I would be calling forrest all day but he hates to travel and i think he is going to struggle due to travelling and general discomfort. Therefore, shogun is going to take the fight since he will be hungry to get revenge and he looks in good shape and for the first time he is training with his old school team. But again forrest smashes a 90% shogun but if pride shogun turns up he smashes forrest this is going to be FOTN imo.
Nog is going to get an almighty asswhooping in his fight. He looks badly out of shape and very slow recently. In the couture fight he looked GREAT but couture is 44ish and he was in better shape. The younger lion is going to destory nog and its going to be very sad to see nog lose in brazil. I am a huge nog fan and if he wins somehow i will be so happy. It would be amazing if he got an ass beating then pulled out an armbar from the clutches of defeat infront of his home crowd. There are also rumours that he rushed his rehab to fight in brazil which is very understandable.
So Anderson, Palhares, Shogun will win
and nog will lose

The last time Okami was finished was 2003
Handerson is 1-3 against Asian fighters
I'm still picking Handerson Silba to win, its in his own backyard afterall, but won't be surprised if Thunder grinds him down for 5 rounds, especially in the championship rounds"I'd rather be judged by 12 than be out my watch and wallet"

eh not really a fan of his but he's not a fighter that when he goes into a match I want him to lose, so it really doesn't effect me if he or Silva wins. I think stamina would be the biggest think he worked on with Sonnen, wrestling technique and keeping pressure on Silva also.Originally Posted by GriPz

Palhares is a beast, he smashed dan miller just as predicted the fight could have easily been finished 2 times. position over submission this time and his gnp was vicious.
Any guestimates on what palhares deadlifts? the guy looks yolked
