Across the next 10 months or so, gaining 0.5lbs per week, 2lbs a month.
In order to do this I plan to eat at around a 250 calorie surplus.
Will my bf% be much higher after 10 months of 0.5lb/week gains?*
Say I was lifting heavy and doing cardio, at a 250 cal surplus, and I started at 13%. Where would I end up do you think?

Your body fat will likely increase unless your body can manage energy storage well (which is possible given your age). The worse you train/eat/sleep, the worse your bulk will be. You don't have to do everything perfectly to improve, but the better you do these things the better your results will be.
You sound like you have the right idea though. Lift hard, do some cardio, and eat at a calorie surplus. Just make sure you get your essential amount of proteins and fats. Try not to overdo it on carbohydrates, but don't be scared of overdoing it either.

The only issue with aiming for your maximum muscular potential so precisely is that water/weight fluctuations make it almost impossible to estimate progress accurately. You can end up spinning your wheels for months before realizing you're right where you started and all the time and money you put into improving your body has been wasted.

As long as I don't gain more than 1% bodyfat my jawline isn't gonna go anywhere. I feel skinny and have maintained my weight for months, so I'm just thinking fuk it - I want to gain some muscle now.
It'll be winter anyway so I can afford to gain a little fat, but I don't want to out of preference.
2lbs a month sounds healthy?

My my my...that jaw line is terribly unattrative haha jk. I think the 2 lbs a month is a great goal. I personally don't bulk (I do a lot more cardio than lifting) but i have good friends who do and it works great for them and when they do they don't add on tons of fat...they might develop a small layer of "fat" but after a week of two of strictly watching their diet (and i don't mean dieting to lose wieght) and eating much healthier...it disappears. I'm not against bulking...i've seen it work great...but I've also seen it put on a lot of fat on guys 'cause they eat everything in sight without any consideration to their diet and hit the gym and expect no consequences of their nutrition...and 17 is a great age to start building muscle...my brother is 16...turning 17 in a couple months and works out avidly...he also eats correctly but he has put on almost ten pounds of muscle over this summer and looks great....as for jaw lines and attrativeness....people are entitled to their own opinions haha
Good luck bro!!...May gravity be against you!!
