I've been on Bill Star's Mad Cow Intermediate for... too long. Since January LOL
Yeah, I know, that's been too long, and I'm pretty sure my gains have begun to plateau. What specifically should I do to get past it (more specific than "change it up")?
I'm thinking about starting Rippetoe's SS. Do you guys think that would be a significant enough change to break past the plateau?
Thanks in advance!

yeah, i have been cutting most of the time, and i did consider that being a possibility for my slowing gains. i wasn't sure if it was a plateau since it could just have been due to my cutting diet. is it at least possible that i'm at a legitimate plateau, though?
i've read somewhere here though that like, 2 months is enough to consider changing up your workout. should i bother changing yet at this point?
p.s. another routine i've been looking at was the "Full Body for Beginners"
Squat: 3x5-10
Deadlifts: 1x5
Bench Press: 3x5-10
Military Press: 2x8-12
Bicep Isolation: 2x8-12
Triceps Isolation: 2x8-12

like, 150, 110, and 100
i'm going to be out of town and away from the gym for 2-3 weeks starting this wednesday. would it be a bad idea to start doing rippetoe's SS when i get back?
OUT OF CURIOSITY, if/when i end up plateauing on rippetoe's SS, would i be able to switch back to Bill Star's 5x5 Mad Cow Intermediate, or are programs pretty much plateaued for good once you hit it?
