you fail to understand, that at 1-1, arsenal were going through. and barca had no choice but to attack. with 10 players, it makes their attack easier. if we had 11, then we could counter attack properly.
there were several occasions after the sending off, that nasri and sanga had the ball, but nobody to pass to up front. the sending off definitely cost us.
again, don't get me wrong, barca were better than us.
but the ref ruined the game. he was a disgrace.
not sure what is so hard to understand about this.

Heat win Game 6 (they haven't lost a back to back in 6 months)
SO FAR: each team has won 3, lost 3...
SO NOW IT COMES DOWN TO GAME 7 (IN MIAMI). LOL if you think SAS would win a GAME 7 in MIAMI.

we seriously missed Song and Walcott today. Can you imagine if we had Vermaelen fit all season too. And Fabregas was obviously not fit, and RVP wasn't 100%. considering all that, we did a good job (in terms of what we tried to do - which was protect a lead). even at 1-1, i was confident.
but that sending off. right before that, the barca fans were getting frustrated, and some of the barca players were also getting frustrated.GAME 6 + 7 = BOTH IN MIAMI.

It was a penalty and i see them given every week, there's no soft about it. He swiped his legs= penalty. The ref did have a poor game but it's one of the hardest games to ref.
Yes the second card was wrong, put my point is, he shouldn't have been silly and got himself booked for the first yellow anyway.

No need to get angry...
Were you watching the game? I know its 2 legs, but on the basis of that game, regardless of the 1-1, Barca were dominating. Arsenal couldnt score a goal (own goal), they couldnt attack the line, and they definitely couldnt keep defending against Barcas great offense. There is no denying Barca were the better team. Yeah Arsenal were missing the speed of Walcott, but thats the game. Barca played the better match, RVP is a great player, but even when he was on, he wasnt playing his best.

They didnt need to score or even shoot for that matter, they were winning on aggragate. They were playing defensive for the tie.
When van persie got sent off, it's pretty obvious that they aren't going to get shots because they lost their attack..
Whats the ****ing problem here?FL IS THE GOAT STATE CREW

just annoying seeing so many ignorant comments about how the sending off wasn't influential on the match. Arsenal were ahead, whether they had a shot or not, and were defending amazingly well it must be said. How many other teams have you seen defend against Barcelona away using their own tactics of a high line and pressing at all times. It's unheard of.
also @ betabeast, pls go. you got so mad the other day you gave me a weak idle death threat online. location: sydney. come at me *******. not scared of kunts with cliche tattoos.

what makes you say that? when it was 11 vs 11, they scored 1 goal.
even if they scored 1 more, it would have been 2-1, and it would have gone into extra time. but it still would have been 11 vs 11.
and if we had scored 1 goal, then barca would have needed 2. changes the dynamics completely.
before the sending off, at 1-1, i think arsenal were favorites. but as soon as the sending off happened, it changed everything.
the truth is, that we will never know. (not to take anything away from barca though, they were terrific). but at despite all their possession, at 11 vs 11, it was still 1-1.GAME 6 + 7 = BOTH IN MIAMI.

Lettuce be reality gunners
With or without that shocking RVP decision
Barca outworked and out played us
They closed us down and their passing was more accurate
We might have had a chance, but over the two legs we were exposedIn my mind any mountain I'm gon' move it
