Hopefully work as an RN in the ER at the Hospital I am currently working at as a tech. If not, will work on a general Med Surgical Floor for 1-2 years to gain experience.

Then, I plan on doing travelling nursing for 1-2 years and see all the parts of the country I have never seen before. After, I will go back to school, become a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Anesthetist (have not decided yet), and from then on only time will tell to be honest.

Sounds very sugar coated and ideal now that I read it, but to be honest it could be a complete reality for me. feelsgoodman.

Yeah, why wouldn't they? Of course it will be a lot more competitive and they take far less transfer students than freshmen. Yale only allows up to 18 semester hours...not sure about other top schools.

I go to Stanford, and I'd say MAYBE 1 or 2 CC students have transferred here in the past 4 years. It's extremely rare. Most of the transfers are from other top universities who just didn't like the 'culture' there.

Wait, so is it impossible to transfer to a top university for your final two years?

Also, if I aim for the Ivies I would go for Cornell and Penn seeing that they have the top transfer acceptance rates
