Exposing this bull**** to the world does nothing but cause conflict between nations, and it does nothing to solve the issue. To eliminate as much corruption as possible, better people need to be put in office, and better laws enacted and enforced.
I agree with exposing corporate corruption...it puts jobs at stake for people involved in the corruption...but exposing certain kinds of government corruption can put thousands of lives at stake who have nothing to do with the corruption in the first place, when it starts a war with other nations.

Short lived long remembered!
"Because society has pushed them into corners, forcing them to believe they are losers When in fact everyone has so much potential to achieve such magic and wonder, but as I alluded it to they are continually told they cant do it/they'll fail, so they start believing it The truth is: there's no such thing as a "loser" its just a label to make people feel bad"

but by that the US should never have fought for independence, because it was an ideal at the expense of lives. If such had never occured, then one of the greatest democratic systems the world has ever seen would not have been formed.
That democratic system has been corroded by greed and corruption, if not for events like these, then there would be no hope of a check and a re-balance of the status quo back to the system's honest roots.Better to live one day a lion, then one hundred years as a sheep

Why do you say this? Because Obama has said so? The leaks so far have caused 0 deaths. Also, so far Wikileaks has only released information damaging to governments and corporations, not soldiers. I really don't think they are as reckless as some people make them out to be.
The reason they are releasing what they are so far is to hold governments accountable and reveal the true nature of their actions. Therefore I don't think that they will release information that will harm soldiers since it is not in their interests to reveal information that could do this. I don't think that revealing military locations/strategies etc is part of their agenda.i rape back

no, as mentioned earlier, the original person responsible for the leak should be tried and punished if found guilty (which he has been). Assange has no part in any illegal activites related (or at best your government would have you believe otherwise through barely tangible links) and yet is being treated with a complete disregard for his rights.

-wikileaks have gotten hold of 250,000 classified documents which have been leaked.
-wikileaks has distributed this on the interwebz
-said documents (summaries usually) have been passed on by major media outlets
-most documents seem to be related to diplomatic relations and profiles of foreign powers/identities (some are not favorable)
-US have had wikileaks shut down in the US
-Wikileaks account/funds have been frozen
-Assange, the ceo of wikileaks, has been arrested on thin as fck rape charges by an 'ex'
-Extradition to the US is being sought (where other charges will no doubt follow; some believe these will be dubious charges)
-Assange is fighting extradition from the UK
-Group of hackers have 'defended' assange by hacking into and causing havok for mastercard and other perceived wrong doers of wikileaksBetter to live one day a lion, then one hundred years as a sheep

No, and I have no idea how that could make sense or how you came up with it. I'm suggesting the opposite, and provided the law which states so.

No one has been hurt as a result of the disclosures up until this point in the history of the site, and it's been up for a while. Well, the reputations and pride of some scum-sucking politicians, but they don't really count.
The whole "It'll endanger the troops!" line is the same one that has been used every time a big piece of government corruption has been revealed in the past half century or so. Pentagon Papers? Iran-Contra? The government used the same BS lines about these and other exposures of their corruption and ineptitude, because they didn't want to be held accountable.*Type O Negative Crew*

So if they already knew that he had this stuff when he asked them to check what he was gonna publish, then why not stop him before he was accused of treason/espionage?
So was Assange purposely vague when he said that he had documents that needed to be censored, not emphasizing that the documents were sensitive? This way, he may have played "jakes on United States, lols" because he didn't give them sufficient motivation to check out what he had.
Or did they want Assange to release the documents for unapparent reasons? An inside job motivated by special interests such as Insurgents offering money to those who undermined US intelligence. A plausible cover-up, with all arrows pointing to Assange(cuz he published them) the insurgents nor the insider would have to worry about repercussions.

true spoken. Believe me, as soon as there is even '1' death that has come as result of this leak, it will be paraded on the front page of every news paper..... even then, after all thats gone on, you'd have to wonder if the hypothetical death was even an 'actual' result of the wikileaks documents.
