its the correct section.
i'm eating 5 whole eggs a day. 3 in the morning and 2 later in the night. my parents fking rage on me big time that i'm going overboard and my dad even got to the extent of shouting at me when i kept insisting that it isn't bad.
so am i wrong or are they wrong? they said that whatever reports no matter what they say can't be applied 100% for everyone and all that. i told them that 5 a day is ok and my dad was like ****ing raging and i was speechless, unable to tell them why its ok just that i read it online from articles.
anyone has a detailed explaination regarding the number of eggs that we can consume each day that doesn't provide a negative **** towards our body or whatever?
thanks.

5 eggs isn't even that much. At your age the testosterone conversion from the fats and cholsterol (both good for you) would be beneficial - at any age really but fats are especially important around your age.
Maybe ask your parent's this - if you replaced the eggs with a mcdonalds burger of some sort what would they think?
It's not hard to find articles supporting the benefits of eggs - peek around the internet.

Honestly, if you're parents are that against it, you're SOL. You are 17...probably out of the house and headed to college (or work) in less than 1 year. Deal with it until youre on your own.
Either that or find research that shows dietary cholesterol is not bad for you. Although I bet that isn't the issue....I bet it's just your parents think eating 5 eggs a day will turn you into Arnold lol.

they are ****ing adamant about whatever they think is right. can't do much with their fking stubborn know it all attitude. they say that too much of something is always bad. i told them 5 ain't a lot but yet..
yea i know, raging over eggs. seriously i don't get wtf is wrong with them. my mum gets it though, i didn't even explain anything she could explain to my dad that i'm trying to fit it in my macros. but she just doesn't want me to eat 5, well because they were induced in their mindset their whole life that 3 eggs is already alot. shes just worried for me, i get it, she was talking to me about it nicely so i was like yea alright alright.
then my dad joins in and rages that i should listen to them and they won't harm me and was like literally shouting at me. he mad? i don't get him.

Two choices, OP.
1) Stay where you're at, and live by their rules.
2) Get a job, move out on your own, and do what you want to do.No brain, no gain.

I had the same problem with my parents, eventually i had to smuggle my hard boiled eggs in my anoos back to my room, where i'd peel them and flush the shells down the toilet.
I was up to 5 eggs a trip before my mom asked what that smell was coming from my room, i even tried burning incense but my mom walked in on me peeling my eggs one day.
Now we don't have eggs in my house so i've had to start eating tuna. I can only carry one can of tuna per trip though.
edit; not srs
no i did not smuggle eggs in my anoos to my roomLast edited by Sudey; 11-16-2010 at 11:33 PM.

Man I'm so glad my home life wasn't like that. We always had cheap food (hot dogs, processed bulk lunch meat, hamburger, ramen, etc) but I typically ate as bout as much of it as I wanted. For several years my favorite after school snack was 3-4 hotdogs covered in cheese. I can't imagine eating hot dogs now but I didn't think much of it then.
