A friend of mine wants to have a 'model' look rather than a bodybuilder look. If he just focused on upper body exercises (bench, crunches, lats etc) and not lower body (squats, deadlifts, calves) will he achieve this look? Anyone know anyone here who does that and have pics?

right click, hit copy, then open paint, then paste, then save, then upload onto tinypic, then post URL. or you can hit "prt sc" at the top right of your keyboard and paste it onto paint.
on topic love seeing guys with big upper bodies then have small lower bodies. just makes themselves look soooo small. if i had to stand next to someone like that i would dwarf them with my thighs and calves which would then automatically make that person look tiny, regardless of how big their upper body is. proportions is what makes you look huge, and if you are out of proportion your weak points show so easily.

ILS is a primal threat/mating display observed in the human male. The ILS display involves the male human holding out it’s arms away from it’s body at approximately a 20-40 degree angle and then walking with a slow deliberate gait inorder to look more imposing to other humans. The posture is used primarily as a form of non-verbal communication such as a mating display to attract or impress females or as a defense or dominance posture to appear larger to a threat or to intimidate rival males.
