The pully systems on machines reduces the actual amount of weight being lifted. I don't know if the machines used in gyms are labeled with the actual weight you're going to be lifting or just the weight of the combined plates. Either way, good lifts.

Yeh a normal double pulley halves the weight if I mind right, dunno how those machines are set up tho, still pretty strong! but 100kg barbell would be woooah! lol

I know the double pulley machines you are talking about that half the weight this machine is a single pulley so pretty much the weight you are lifting allow still easier than a barbell as the weight stays stable for you .

There is a shoulder press machine at my gym where I can lift the whole stack, which is 205 (about 95 kg) but I can't lift anything like that with a barbell.

    Anyway, nice video.

    Interesting video.

If I may be honest, he doesn't look like he even goes to a gym, he's just fat and stocky.

I wonder if he can even do 135 on a barbell, to be quite honest.

    1) He doesn't look very fit
    2) He's using a machine
    3) He's going down about 1/2 way after the first rep to get it up (which almost gave him a heart attack)

Overall, not very impressed, disappointed about it being a machine and thinking that this is in no way, shape or form a thread-worthy video.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
