whether or not a person can get an 8 pack isn't just based on how hard they work their lower abs, its based a lot on genetics. mainly, the genetic variation that decides whether or not the lowest tendon of your abs splits (giving the appearance of the two tendons bellow the typical six). without this genetic trait, it is impossible, though you can still have highly developed lower abs.

its even impossible for some people to get a six pack. most famous example is arnold, look at his abs, it appears that there are only four tendons, this is because his genetics would not allow either of the two lowest tendons to split.

You can't get a real 10 pack. There are only 4 rows of muscles. Anatomically impossible.
