    Sodium content important?

I have been watching my sodium intake.....used to get about 4,000 a day, now its about half that....

I know sodium is bad, but does it prevent weight loss?

Sodium isn't necessarily bad. Other than water weight, not really.

    Exclamation

Sodium does not prevent weight loss. Only an excess of calories on someone's metabolism can prevent weight loss.

Higher sodium intake will cause the body to retain more water weight, so if you want to be bsolutely shredded then keep it low, otherwise like the guy aboe said it wont stop fat loss
