How do you manage to eat 6-8 meals if you're working 40 hrs a week?
I'm starting a new job soon and I will be bulking.
Thanks

No need to eat that many times.
But if you do, blend up a few shakes or eat something that can be eaten in a short break. Bring tupperware.

I cook about 3 gourmet meals a week. I cook them in very large amounts and buy cheap portion Tupperware. I can microwave them or sometimes eat them cold. I do this cause I am lazy (funny since my job is to teach people how not to be lazy), some guys cook 2-3 pieces of chicken on the grill a night put it in a bag and eat it with broccoli the next day. I don't like cooking every night. I cook meals that are a good mix of proteins fats and natural source carbs. Chilis are often my specialties. Food doesn't have to be bland either, that is what spices and vinegars are for! I only do one meal replacement shake a day. It is better to try and get your nutrition from natural sources and only supplement shakes. However if you really cant do it at work, it is better to do more then one shake then starve during a bulk.
Depending on where you are, there are places that will deliver you days worth of balanced diet food portioned out every day. They are pricey but time is money. Either way when you go do an 8-5 or work an abundant amount, if you really put bulking a priority you will find a way to get that nutrition in. It obviously needs to fit your time requirements.

I mow grass from 6am till 2:30 pm so what i have been doing is getting up at 5am and eating my breakfast, then taking a protein bar in my pocket for when im mowing greens, eat that around 8am, 11am is lunch time, then i go back and eat at 2pm or 2:30 right before i clock out for my pre workout meal, then workout at 2:45 or 3ish.

There would be a variety of way depending on what you do for work. As for me I sit at a desk most of the day and go to meetings. I have a fridge and microwave close by so storing and heating up my meals is easy.
* Breakfast before I get to work
* Protein shake (keep one tub at my desk)
* lunch - just warm it up
* Protein pudding with some PB and celery
so really the only meals I consume while at work are two snacks and a lunch. When you break it down like that, you're actually not eatting all 6-8 meals at work.
My pre/post shakes, dinner, and night time meal are all done at home.

You don't need to eat 6-8 times a day. Just fit in how ever many work for you.. average day for me is something like
6:30 - wake up, eat breafast
7:30 - go to work
10:00 - 15min. break, eat
1:30 - eat lunch
4 or 5 - eat
7 or 8 - eat
10 - eatLast edited by Get.Born.Again; 07-15-2008 at 05:04 PM.

depending on how long your lunch hour is, ask if you can split it in two if you are worried about eating more meals. Otherwise, just eat your lunch but have snacks in your working area. Almonds, tuna, protein shakes, etc... Or you could pack stuff away in tupperware and eat it while doing your job (if its ok with your supervisor)

I just recently graduated from college. I had an internship but i have never seen people eating like i would eat if i was bulking lol. Is it extremely disrespectful to grab food from the fridge you brought and eat it at your desk? I was the kid at my internship that would pocket his turkey sandwich and almonds and go to the bathroom and pretend i was pooping lol. I dont have a job yet so i guess i got some time to think about this lol but what do u guys do

i work 40 a week. its easy. just pack a lunch the night before. it helps if you take some time on sunday afternoon or something to cook up a crapload of protein and veggies, then throw em in tupperwares.
