Judging by what's been happening in Africa and many other countries across the world, US and it's western European friends have not had much luck lately with maintaining puppet governments or overthrowing hostile to them leaders.

It's fair to say that many countries across the world have learned that it will not lead to anything good in a long run, for them at least. Sooner or later, US, France and Britain turn that country into an absolute wasteland, as history has shown.

Why would they need to take that? Was the plan to fly into the capital international airport, overthrow the govt and go through immigration to fly out?
