Sure, a lot of them got their jobs because they're part of the club, which is why people so desperately want to go to prestigious Ivy League schools cause it'll give them a chance at networking with those clubs and getting those sweet jobs.

Go back more than a hundred years and almost every son was going to do the same thing their father did. It still happens today, albeit at a way lower rate.
