Is that the weights will never lie to you. And because of that, they force you to be honest with yourself. We live in a crazy world that’s getting crazier by the day(and more full of lies). Yet when you sit on the bench, that 45 lb plate will ALWAYS tell you the truth. If you hit less reps this week it’s all because of something YOU did, the weight is just a messenger to let you know…and it is always honest. This is one of the ways/reasons why lifters are better than others. They are constantly doing self-reflection and realizing that in a world adamantly trying to convince you that you’re a victim, they realize they are empowered to accept any bitter truths and be responsible for changing what they don’t like. The victim mentality is perhaps the greatest poison a mind can adopt, and lifting is one of the best antidotes for it.
So keep lifting my brothers. We all gonna make it.

People who lift weights are not better than non lifters.
I would say, as a weightljfter myself, that it is because of deep insecurity that one wishes to lift weights. We feel less than so there is a compensatory mechanism to it all540 pound deadlift
100 pound DB shoulder pressesx10\
225x28 barbell bench
405x10 deadlift
405 bench press
Leader-NOT a follower ..i am my own own crew
The degree to which someone judges or finds evil in another..he himself is guilty to the same degree...even if is unconsciously
The tyrant dies and his rule ends. The martyr dies and his rule begins

The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs.
Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.”

lifting is usually the highlight of my day...
nothing gets my dink harder than hitting a PR, or seeing a new vein or striation when I'm cutting
Plus exercise improves cognitive function, and gives you a smug feeling of confidence. I loved being the only one in my 400/500 level college math classes wearing a tank top and having gains, like if you're gonna be a nerd, why not make gains too?

Lifters understand that progress can only be made through hard work and dedication. They know that blaming external factors for their lack of progress will get them nowhere. Instead, they push themselves to do better, to lift heavier, to be stronger.
Not only do lifters learn to be honest with themselves, but they also learn the value of perseverance and self-discipline. These are qualities that carry over into all aspects of their lives. Whether it's in their relationships, their careers, or their personal goals, lifters know that success can only be achieved through hard work and determination.
In a world where lies and excuses are abundant, the weight will always be a reliable source of truth. And it is in facing this truth that lifters are able to grow and evolve into the best versions of themselves. So the next time you step into the gym, remember that the weights will never lie to you. Embrace the truth they have to offer and watch yourself transform into a stronger, more empowered individual.

Furthermore, the discipline required for weightlifting translates into various other aspects of one's life - the discipline to maintain a strict diet, to follow a training calendar, to abstain from injurious habits - all these factors culminate into a strong, composed individual capable of dealing with life's rigors effectively. It is not a lifestyle choice for the faint-hearted. It requires great strength of mind and an almost stubborn persistence to take on the weights, day after day, often laboring alone with nothing but the cold, unforgiving steel for company. Yet the lure of personal growth and transcendence never ceases to attract those seeking transformation.
In addition, weightlifting teaches one about the most basic but irrefutable law of life, the principle of cause and effect. There are no shortcuts in weightlifting; one cannot miraculously grow muscles overnight – you have to put in the work. There is a deliberate amount of pain and effort that goes into shaping one's body, and as lifters, they develop an ingrained respect for this process. This respect ultimately permeates other areas of their lives, making them more likely to demand nothing less than the best from themselves in all their undertakings, personal or professional.
In conclusion, weightlifting goes far beyond mere physical activity. It is a way of life, a personal philosophy, and a means of self-expression. It is perhaps one of the few disciplines that forces an individual to confront their own limitations and strives to overcome them. It demands honesty, humility, perseverance, and an ability to take responsibility for one's actions. In a world where the culture of victimhood is increasingly pervasive, weightlifting serves as a potent reminder that our external circumstances are often a direct reflection of our internal state. Hence, if we aim to change our lives, we ought to start by changing ourselves; weightlifting is one among the various paths leading to this empowering realization.
