The title states it.. I’d love opinions on this.. I’m starting split workouts this week and will either start my day with fasted cardio, or weights.
If I do weights in the AM, I will obviously do cardio in the PM. Is cardio fasted really any different than cardio at any other point of the day??

Cardio is so much easier for me in the mornings before I do anything. I was a spin instructor for a 5am class for years, therefore it’s ingrained in me that 45 minutes of cardio is best right first thing in the AM.
I’ve gone through cancer and some health concerns in which I’ve gained about 50 lbs and need to shed. I’m looking to work smarter, not harder at this point!

Congrats on beating cancer! (I hope you beat it.) If you like doing cardio in the morning, go for it. I've been doing all of my training fasted for 15 years and enjoy it. There are some benefits to calories before you train, but do what works for you. Your body will adapt.
