Got a random blood test 3 months ago and my cholesterol and triglycerides were sky-high srs
36 years old, athletic body shape, lifting 3-4 times per week, eat anything.
That was the issue apparently. Even though im not fat, eating whatever and a lack of cardio had me on a pathway to stroke/heart attack city.
Brb as of today, i have more than halved my cholesterol and triglycerides by eating super clean and doing cardio 3 times a week.
Go get checked up before it's too late brahs... If anyone needs help how to do it, just ask srs

When did you last check your cholesterol levels?

Cholesterol doesn’t mater. Ignore those tests. Just look in the mirror. If you don’t see your 6-pack, you are fat.
Cholesterol readings are basically a scam. People have since caught on, and the whole narrative is going away. Many doctors don’t even pay attention anymore and don’t check for it. It’s part of the anti-meat movement, to try to get you to eat soy, sugar, carbs and other garbage that big food produces. It’s a 100% proven scam. Ignore it. PhDs have written entire books debunking this nonsense. Fatty red meat and whole eggs are literally THE best foods you can eat, and there is no close third.

High for first time in my life
Cuz I'm retired
So
Upped the cardio ,Oats everyday
It's mainly genetic ,some people eat sh and are fine
Others do everything right and are high
My Dr said Even if it's high, if you do the right things for your heart
Cardio ,staying away from the obvious you'll more than likely be fine
It's not a death sentence
He said at 58 I don't get a drug ,maybe at 68

It has been a long time since I last checked my cholesterol levels. My cholesterol levels were always low in the past and I attribute that to spending time outdoors in the sun. I've read that sun exposure can lower, sometimes dramatically, cholesterol levels.
If worried about your hearts health, don't forget there are several other theories on the cause of heart attacks. I do my best to avoid stress/keep my nervous system healthy. I also try to keep my NO levels high too.

I am a cholesterol denier so I dont see a need to check it.
Its one of those things doctors use to hook random people on meds they dont need.
Thinik about it. A middle age perfectly healthy man goes to the doctor for a routine checkup. There is a 100% chance he is walking out with some high cholesterol meds even though he is perfectly fit.
The reason is that men dont usually go to the doctor so so big pharma is missing half the potential profits.
They figure that scaring some guy into taking some meds will egt him started down the path of being in the system. From there its blood pressure meds, type 2 diabetes stuff, sleep apnea, you name it.
Once they have you in the system its easy to just keep heaping more and more meds on you.
We all know the latest scam is trt. Sure, it might make you feel younger and all that but so will a 21 year old girl friend."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Its been probably 5 years I should go get them checked.
My blood pressure was high, I have been able to lower it with natural methods. mostly i stopped all caffeine intake. I thought I would be super tired but i actually feel fine. I also thought I would get headaches going cold turkey but nothing happened.🌺 Lauren Brooks Kelly (snailsrus) - Jul 25, 1991 – Jan 29, 2022

Cholesterol can be a funky thing. I'm 55.
Last September, ate like **** was 202 lb. drank, but still worked out and it was 226. HDL 77.
This April, didn't drink for 8 weeks, lost 18 lb. fasted for 40 hours 1x a week, took a tbsp of Metameucil every day.
Total, 275. LDL up to 199. HDL 63, Triglycerides were a low 64. The fasting raised my LDL.
No drinking I cut my Lisinopril from 10 mg to 5. Was still getting head rushes, doctor told me to monitor it and stop taking pills. Drank last weekend and my BP is in the stratosphere. 139/90. Heartrate is in high 40's and I kill it with cardio. Ran 2 miles today sub 8:40 and then did Stairmaster. 15k steps today and still high.
