How woke is it?

8.7 on IMDB. Brother already finished it and liked it, said there's a lot of nods to FO3 and FO:NV, including referring to their respective canon endings.

Haven't seen it yet but kinda wanna rewatch Breaking Bad for a while instead. Been like 10 years.

How woke is it?

There’s one very masculine female military character that’s probably going to offend anyone asking that question.

But it doesn’t come across particularly woke to me.

I mean, it’s not a Disney production or something.

Couldn't help but notice a few woke things.

One being a strong female lead has a beta brother that is literally 4'11 tall and cowardly.

I've only seen like 30 minutes of the show but that little phggt always makes me lol cause his role in the show "The Middle"

Played NV and FO4. So far I'm kinda meh'd. The first part was when the tranny got it's foot sliced, like is a razor blade really going to take out a BOS soldier? Did it feel the razor blade when it put it's foot in the boot, and then kept pushing?

Then the DEI squire goes on his first mission, at first I figured he wasn't shooting because he knew it would be ineffective. Then he just one shots it. Like why didn't he do that earlier?

I also didn't like the literal finger-teeth. Like you don't need to actually make them fingers. That's the kind of thing you get when you get a group of low IQ writers and nobody has the balls to say, No, that's a stupid idea and we're not using it.

Interestingly, it hasn't fully triggered my woke-filter yet. Watching episode 4 now. Not really impressed with the writing and character decisions, but it's "OK" so far.

not very woke, in the way no ovbious ideology is forced down your throat. there is one weird side character that's a non binary/tranny but that's it, but has limited screen time because the actor is so bad it's obvious a check box had to get ticked lol

The vaultcels are creepy as fuk. All the vaults live a life like a corporate desk job where everyone is fake as fuk and doing things like contributing to potlucks for Becky’s birthday. rather try my luck at the surface.

Yeah I just finished EP2. I already don't like the guy who inherited the BOS armor. Hope he gets some character development or seriously humbled.

everyone seems to like it. It's 6ish/10 woke but they put a lot of attention into the details of the environment making a lot of things accurate to the game. The story and characters are the part i have a problem with. It has more of a comical/dry sarcasm undertone than a serious post apocalyptic feeling you would expect, and the acting is fairly bad.

I had a similar thought the first time I heard a British accent in that first episode. Buy it’s not really the case.

You find out pretty soon that people from the vaults move around from one vault to the other periodically. And they haven’t been there nearly as long as you think right now.
