Srs.
The only thing I think that can rival it is the internet.
It in theory can wipe obesity off the face of the earth. Which will lead to longer life expectancy and less illnesses. Hell its going to change the food industry dramatically.

No, AI is likely the biggest invention of our lifetimes as it will probably be responsible for many of the most impactful inventions going forward and allow all types of breakthroughs in many areas(along with lots of possible issues).
Ozempic is just a thing because people are too undisciplined to be healthy, and are always looking for a quick fix while throwing money at big pharma.+positive crew+

Yeah the nausea is really bad and a lot of people have bad vomiting. I have nausea medication for if.
The constipation is horrendous, too. I have to take fiber gummies and high fiber cereal. If I forget I’m in hell.
Some people also get acne from it. Then my Dr gave me an antibiotic for that!!
But it’s not a miracle drug as you also have to diet on it. You can just eat fast food all day on Ozempic and lose weight. It just reduces your appetite and cravings but the cravings were still there at the Christmas parties with cookies!
Ozempic didn’t stop those. Hence I’ve got to get back on track today as I feel like chit.

More people on Earth now obese than underweight

Probably. But for those of us who were formerly obese and lost the weight without it, I legit consider it cheating. I’m glad, for your health, that you don’t have the weight anymore but you aren’t getting my “congrats!”

google "Ozempic face"
it messes with fat deposits in your face and the way your body stores fat. I think it reduces fat differently than if you just say fasted. There will probably be more long term side effects that they dont even know about yet. These could even be aesthetic or superficial side effects which werent even considered in the original studies for diabetes treatment where they probably only care about blood work.
Its just the latest "in" thing. I think in 5-10 years there will be a lot of salty ozempiccels running around. Remember when "phen-phen" was the miracle drug in the 90s and then they were shocked to find out if you give obese people an amphetamine cocktail they keep having heart attacks. It worked good onpaper though initially.🌺 Lauren Brooks Kelly (snailsrus) - Jul 25, 1991 – Jan 29, 2022

Yeah after looking through this I predict there will be a big backlash in the coming years, maybe 5 or so years enough time for it to really sink in that they made a huge mistake. I think it ages you more rapidly than if you just cut calories and it alters the way fat deposits are stored, its taking away more fat off the face which is terrible for aging.🌺 Lauren Brooks Kelly (snailsrus) - Jul 25, 1991 – Jan 29, 2022

I mean you might not be wrong about AI but... People are too undisciplined to be healthy, period. It's just a fact of our species. It's never going to change... thus a drug that equates to genuine fat loss is going to be huge.
People in the past weren't thinner because they had some discipline or were raised different. They just didn't have nearly the amount of garbage we have available and shoved in our faces by every fuking company in the world 24/7 everywhere we fuking look.*Dallas Cowboys Crew*

New class of big pharma drugs that target the receptors in your brain that make you crave food. After taking it ppl crave food less which leads to weight loss
And rn it’s too expensive to realistically be used by a large portion of the population. Also there is speculation that if insurance covers it, many more ppl will take it. Costs like 1k monthly iirc

No, such “miracle” drugs are announced every few weeks, nothing ever comes out of it, it’s just a money grab, cashing in on hopes and dreams of the fat morons, these drugs are already being investigated for deadly side effects, there is no free lunch. If you dig into the history a little bit, there have been many such drugs for a very long time.
