When someone says 5 plates I'm thinking 5 plates of 45lbs on each side totaling 495lbs. 5 plates is an odd number, so how can they squat 5? Like 3 plates on 1 side and 2 on the other. Aware me OP.

I think squats should be done to make you stronger. As an exercise, not as a 1rm competition movement.

Once pushing a 1rm becomes a goal, then it becomes about cheating the depth as much as possible which is counterproductive in the long run.

. I won’t cheat, i fuk with Clarence Kennedy, that nikka goes deep and trains balls to the wall



I aint Gonna 1rm until i can get 4 plates for 10 (or somewhere around there), so I’ve still got high volume goals
