Sad to know the man whom you grew up idolizing and who’s music got you through so much in your life, that his life is winding down.

Lemmy's last few month's of shows before passing were pretty bad. Forgetting lyrics and having to cut shows short.
Props to Ozzy for making it as long as he has, I am sure he has surprised a lot of medical expertsBoomer Rep Crew #1

Let me just start by saying, I'd highly doubt there is a bigger fan of Ozzy/Ozzy era Black Sabbath music on the misc than I am.
With that context out there upfront, the fact that the man is still alive at 73 is nothing short of basically miraculous luck in terms of genetics/simple luck of how things panned out. That dude drank enough alcohol and did enough other drugs from the late 1960's - 2000's that it honestly started being impressive every year he made it past 50. Hell, the most recent issue I heard he had with it was when he apparently relapsed hard with booze for a couple years between like 2012 - 2014 when recording that last "reunion" album with Sabbath that didn't include the original drummer (who was still alive at the time).
Basically, as sad as it is to see, the Ozzman isn't exactly a young fellow anymore, especially after everything he put his body through over many decades of substance abuse.

Dang, he looked and sounded bad during this interview, I didn't realize he announced he had Parkinson's 2 years ago.
But he's been saying in interviews since the early 90s that he can't see himself touring any more but then keeps going out. I hope he takes the time to rest, he deserves it.

Bill Ward had been In his own little world since he quit the heaven and hell tour. But imo no matter what the circumstances he needed to be included on that tour. One of the greatest most innovative drummers of all time. I assumed maybe it was equal to ring rust in legendary wrestlers/fighters who attempt to make a comeback. Both parties Ozzy/geezer/Tony and ward should’ve agreed that 13 or no sabbath reunion would happen without him. He left the heaven and he’ll tour because he didn’t like being on stage without Ozzy. Seeing them on stage together would’ve been the most magical mystical reunion of all time they could’ve agreed to just play mostly the classics. Fans would’ve eaten it up. Like Metallica on rye load re-load tours the concert I hit in 97 they only played 3 new tracks and the rest was their vintage songs in top form.

look at their kids though.
100% soy...and according to which an ensign might rank incomparably higher than a general, and according to which what was needed for success in the service was not effort or work, or courage, or perseverance, but only the knowledge of how to get on with those who can grant rewards, and he was himself often surprised at the rapidity of his success, and at the inability of others to understand these things

Ozzy and Sharon’s daughter Aimee looked somewhat high test crew. She was the kid who didn’t want to be included in the reality show. So it only starred Kelly and Jack but really they were a family of 5. They just kept her off camera.
Ozzy had two other children who grew into functioning adults.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

I agree. Hated the idea of Brad Wilk playing, but he did a fine job. Ward has had such issues with his health that they left him off the recent tours, which led to him being omitted from "13". On one hand, you can't blame Bill for saying he could hang in there and want to be involved. He should be. On the other, and I'd wager Sharon had most to do with it, you can't blame the others for fearing he'd not be able to survive the tours.
Besides the money and risk of show cancelation, God forbid he'd have a heart attack because of it. If anyone needs to be in physical shape, it's the drummer, and if anyone is in the worst physical health out of these members it's always been Bill Ward.
That said, I do my best to take the album as it is and I enjoy it quite a bit. If I think about it too much, I wish Ward had been included, etc. I'm glad I saw the full reunion in 99, which was also the first time I'd finally been able to see Ozzy. 30 concerts later I'm hoping he gets one more US tour, so I can bring my son to see him. Even if it's a one-off show, we'll go wherever. He *must* see Ozzy perform before he can't, and we all know it's been a long time coming.
We had tickets to the last 2019 tour, but his neck issues caused cancelation and then covid happened. Before that, he was too young (4-5) to bring along to showsLifting. Hockey. Headbanging.
