There was a miscer that bought two lots just so he had two football field size lawns to cut on his property. I was mirin' the aesthetics until i figured out how much work went into it.
Mowing isn't so bad, but if your property has a bit of scrub area Goodnight sweet prince. Weed whacking, hedge clipping and weeding
... that will make you question your life choices.

I have been doing this for years now. My pond used to be suchh a pain weed whacking around it. Now i just kill the schit...and within 3 weeks new growth is coming up till i hit it again. Otherwise, I would have to wee whack the fkn thing at least every week if not more. I go up sidewalk, around trees and around house. Been so nice...i use my own backback sprayer and mix it myself.

I book Friday from 10-11:30 AM on my work calendar as a recurring meeting so I can manicure my lawn. The seething looks of my neighbors when they pull into their driveway Friday evening and see my perfectly cut grass then have to stare at their overgrown dandelion and red dirt "lawns" knowing they have to spend the best part of Saturday pushing a lawn mower is one of the most rewarding things of the week.
I always make sure to wave really noticeably when they pull in so they have to look at my beautiful lawn and give me a wave back with a big fake smile.

I've made a good living off of the backs of the lazy homeowner. I charge some 60-100/week for a yard that might take me 30 mins to complete lmao. Mulch and Fertilization are the real money makers.....brb charge a lady $110 a visit to broadcast spread some scotts on her lawn. 15 mins of work, materials cost like 30 bucks. LMAO

That might have been me, as we own the lots on both sides of our house, but it was done so no one could build next to us. I don't mind mowing, but our yard takes our crew of 5 guys with two 60" mowers about 1 1/2 hrs, so I figure it would take me all day by myself.
I don't have that kind of time, and now we are building our new house on 27 acers with a pond.
