I ordered that RMR HRS. Looks so much better on the 19x’s and it would bug me. Plus it was cheaper. Midway USA has a great price on them if anyone is looking.
Blued the slide though so it’s ready. Anyone looking at milling. Leave it raw and blue it yourself. Will get the slide back in a few days compared to waiting weeks or months for refinishing.
That SCAR is still there. It’s so tempting. And put an Elcan on it to have a GWOT Special Forces clone. Tough call though with the new ones out.

Thanks guys over 35 misc right around the corner
I really like the MAWL, best controls/switches option out there. Probably best overall laser and illuminator performance for restricted devices, and it's very on par with unrestricted. But it is $2750 or so...
I have seen the mawl c1+ (restricted, the one i own) next to a mawl unrestricted and the illuminator difference is maybe like 5 to 10%, the biggest difference being the laser.
At the Kinetic Consulting nods class I went to, was able to see almost every laser/illuminator on the market, unrestricted or restricted.
My first choice for restricted devices would be mawl c1+, then the DBAL A4.
DBAL A4 is really nice especially for the price. But I'd rather get one of the Perst (russian laser) because they're unrestricted and very low price for the performance that you get.R.I.P. ssj4veggeto1008

Seriously considering making a form 1 suppressor for 9mm. So far it looks like Quietbore solvent trap and piston buffer is the way to go.
Anyone have experience finishing one of these?
Or recommend another brand?

Happy birthday Millz!
Disagree on the a4 bro the illuminator and light are both bull****. Would much rather have a D2...best illuminator in the game.Last edited by NuggzTheNinja; 10-06-2021 at 04:29 PM.

Just to add, Quietbore is good and does a great job with their product, but their ID threading is not industry standard, which is tedious and dumb for something other than like a dedicated 22 can. That Griffin QD attachment system for pistols is fantastic.

Somebody brought this up and we touched on it recently, but, how many of you have some kind of self defense liability insurance/prepaid legal/membership/etc? USCCA, CCW Safe, Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network, Texas Law Shield, etc? How many don't? Anybody have more than one? Switch from one to another, if so why?

I’m adding a 22 can next. The Q erector is stupid light. Like weighs nothing. The Surefire can is heavy but feels really solid. I’m going to buy a Bergara 22 bolt action and want to suppress it.

Handguns (most) have a barrel that moves when the slide reciprocates. If you hang a big suppressor at the end of the barrel, the barrel won't move right and the gun won't cycle.
The solution to this is to put a sprung piston in the can that allows the barrel to cycle and then return to the can. This motion slowly unthreads the can. (Bad)
Every barrel on every hand gun has a different pitch, so you normally need different pistons for each gun.
Griffin solved both of these problems by making a universal taper mount and adapters that torque onto your barrel threads.
1 piston, qd detachable from your pistol, immediately able to go on any other pistol.Florida Crew as of 3/21

Starlink order just went through, order on the way, guess we'll see how the service is. I am hopeful. Currently at 12 mbps at ATT which is the fastest I can get.

If you still looking for a beater just get a complete aero lower and complete aero upper.
Or a Ruger MPR over anything you posted. The FN would probably be ok, but I’d rather a BCM for that price.
Zion isn’t bad and probably best deal of what you posted but meh for me cause ghey name.
Other one is terrible with a railed gas block.
I’m sure any of them will work.
