It kind of is, until you realize OP is probably full of chit. He says he sneaks down there and does this because if he doesn't the laundry room is super busy. But not a single person says or notices a guy randomly come down and start using an out of order machine? I feel like someone would see, and if nobody did or said anything the first time, after every week or two of the same thing happening people would catch on and just start testing the out of order machine. I doubt one random old man would would get suspicious because the sign was simply written with the same handwriting and he would stakeout the laundry room.

Still a funny story though.

Well, I get up real early to place the sign and nobody sees me. Then, when I am ready to use it, I go down and make sure the coast is clear. The old man did bust me in the way you said though. He is the only one who noticed the pattern and caught me one day when I thought I was alone. I think everyone else in the building did laundry at sporadic times and didn't notice it happening when I did it.

Report him, say it was him. Put the sign back on, then hide... then wait till he takes it off, and take a photo of him holding the sign as he's removing it. Use that as evidence that it was him. Just reverse the entire situation.

In college some kid was going around after hardcore nights of drinking and breaking the dryers. He would squat down and take a **** in the dryer and then put it on full blast. The **** would then imbed itself in the dryer drum until it was not noticeable. People would then put their clothes in and then come back to their stuff smelling like actual ****. He did it for the whole spring semester until there was like one dryer in each building for the 10 washers, so there was a log jam for the dryer. They instituted a sign-in sheet for the laundry rooms that the cadets had to police for 4 hour shifts all through the day. He still wasn’t getting caught after that. We ended up finding out who it was since he was actually a friend of mine. But the Phantom ****ter was never actually caught in the act.
