RIP OP this thread makes me appreciate life more and not let the small thing get to me
When we wake up in the morning, we have two simple choices. Go back to sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams. Choice is yours

I'm not sure if you are still out there op, but you have inspired me to do better with my life.
You quoted Seneca, so here is a quote from another famous Stoic.
Death is a release from the impressions of the senses, and from desires that make us their puppets, and from the vagaries of the mind, and from the hard service of the flesh.

Right in the feels'
Lost my mother due to breast cancer back in 2001 when I was 18, and the whole family was in the hospital until she had her last breath. The part that hurt me the most is that hours before she fell into a coma, she was already ridiculously weak laid in bed and warned the nurses to not hurt themselves due to the wiring that was laid on the ground. She was caring for the safety of everyone around her while being selfless regarding her terminal illness. U remind me of her in your thread OP.
Typing this brought a LOT of memories buried in my conscience. Thank you for your message. May I dedicate the remainder of my way of life via your sound advice
RIP.Pureblood
RIP Duckenheimer (miscer) much respek

RIP, Duckenheimer.
For the rest of you guys: I am glad that you all have lived to see the end of another year. Srs.
That we are present tonight is a blessing. Cheers to all.The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
