They have a very strong smell but are amazing otherwise

Hold out for a sale. They go down to $13-15 every so often. I did my whole gym for under $300...and if anyone has been pricing 1/2 inch rubber floors, you know what a crazy deal that is.
P.S. The smell goes away with time. Not sure how many months I've had mine now (maybe 4 or 5), but the smell is almost completely gone.

Wisconsin...but I have a correction. Talked to the wife...I got mine at Blain's Farm and Fleet (not Tractor Supply) for $15 this past year, she got hers at Tractor Supply 2 years ago for $13.99. Mine have a rock/pebble design, hers has that diamond steel pattern.
Oh, these are the 3x4 ones, 1/2 inch thick.

Also in WI. FWIW, I've picked up diamond pattern 4x6 3/4" mats from both Farm and Fleet and Fleet Farm for ~$25 on sale, but neither appears to carry them right now. Farm and Fleet only shows their 4x6 untextured mats on sale for $38 and Fleet Farm doesn't show any 4x6 mats.

You can also get them at Rural King. Their regular price is $29.99 for the 4'x6'x3/4" mats. Rural King is mostly in Florida and the MidWest from Tennessee north. Store Map I live about 15 minutes from one.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Agree, the smell does dissipate pretty quick. the last 4 mats I picked up no longer smell after 3-4 weeks in the garage.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned on mats is that they can vary slightly in appearance based on manufacturer and even production runs by the same manufacturer.
I purchased mine over time from Tractor Supply in Washington state, and ended up with 2 different manufacturers.
The difference is minimal, and I certainly don't lose sleep over it... but from the pics some of you guys have posted, some folks may care.
If I had it to do over, I would have purchased them all at once.
For the record, I also purchased my mats at Tractor Supply 4' x 6' x 3/4". They were on sale last summer for ~$34, but the last few were ~$42each, IIRC.
