I wish scientists would go ahead and figure out once and for all whether or not sucralose and aspartame are bad for you. Some say bad; some say good; some say good in moderation. I don't want to drink it at all if it's bad for me. I am getting tired of only being able to drink water.

I see it like this: if its made in a laboratory then it can't be good. After all, you may think sugar (sucrose) is natural but its also a man-made product: it doesn't exist in nature.
Even so, many aren't too damaging as long as they're taken in moderation and/or infrequently.
Since we're on this topic, I would say that I'm pretty good at resisting most junk food or getting cravings (I've worked on it for years), but if I do feel the need, I simply cycle/walk to the gym/etc. to compensate for the added 60-150 calories or so. You need to walk a mile to burn approx. 100 cals.🎥

Day 9 here. Just finished my last workout on this diet.... all my lifts are still the same, nothing has gone down! Das it brahs.
Just 2 more days on PSMF and then a carb refeed... I'm so goddamn excited.
So far I went from 196.6 lbs to 189.2 lbs at 6'3". I'll take pics in a few days if they turn out good... I'm pale as shiet so it's hard to see cuts/ definition sometimes in my pictures unless I'm in proper lighting.
As far as the artificial sweeteners issue, I've been consuming quite a bit on this diet and I haven't noticed it negatively affect me. It's possible it may have hindered fat loss slightly, but since my lifts are the same (or improving in some regards), I'm not complaining.

Feeling better today day 5, still haven't weighed myself but starting weight was 186. I had about 55g of carbs yesterday tho all in broc****, cauliflower, psylium husk, and triple zero greek yogurt. All so I can get enough fiber to see if that's the problem and it seems like it was. There is no way you can remain at 20g of carbs or less a day and get a requisite amount of fiber. Hopefully, you're right and my body can adjust and deal with insufficient doses without insane abdominal cramping again. I'm sure the next time I dump is probably gonna be like 3 days from now but w/e.

I had no problem whatsoever with 1-2 servings of broc****, cauliflower or spinach per day. I buy Kroger 10/10 frozen vegetables. However, this is one of those areas where systems can differ greatly.
One more thing, I didn't get on a scale for over 3 month. If there's one thing I learned from years of dieting is that the scale will mess with your head.🎥

Started today, going with category 1.
Day 1: 215.8lbs / 14.3% bf (omron handheld, just for approximation)
Diet:
1 can of tuna: 100 cal
6 fat free cheese slices: 180 cal
6 fish oil caps: 60 cal
1 cup egg whites: 130 cal
1 grilled chicken cutlet: ~110 cal
2 scoops casein protein: 240 cal
+ veggies and EC stack
Tired of spinning the wheels and just want to do something strict for a bit.

I brought my carbs back down to 20g yesterday and 10g of fiber. I'll stick with it unless my stomach gets all fuked up again. I do the same with the Kroger veggies just because one bag I can microwave in the bag at work and eat half for lunch then bring it home and eat the rest for dinner and that is my veggies for the day. It makes it so you don't even have to think or measure.

The ultimate goal is being able to see abs while unflexed, but for this i just want to see where i get in 12 days. Sort of a test.
Day 2: 214lbs / 14.6% bf (looks like i'm losing water weight, which is part of lean body mass)
Hunger wasn't too bad on the first day, had some trouble falling asleep but not that bad.

End of day 6. Something changed today, I have so much energy, I wasn't lethargic before but now I'm like high as a kite. I smashed my workout and hit a PR. It might be coincidence since I know I'm going on a 10 day vacation in a week and a half and my body is just now feeling the rush of that. But holeee fuk I'm flying.
And I should've listened when whoever said not to use the scale. I stepped on today for the first time since starting and only lost 2.5lbs. WTF. But I look leaner or at least I think I do.

In for later. Only read this page but responses seem to be very positive.
A super short cut?
Just what I need tbh. Only have 5-7 lbs to lose to get shredded.Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

****ing looking good man! No homo...
Mental Fortitude is needed as it sucks so much ass IMO plus I was tired most of the time when I did it. That really sucks when you have a 4 year old to chase around!
It sucks but it gets results.
You probably have more than you think, honestly.AE APE results thread: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144074851&p=867099761&viewfull=1#post867099761

I forgot to post this earlier, but some important things I learned from this diet that might be useful for y'all:
1) definitely learn at least a few recipes. It got old eating plain egg whites and lean turkey a few days into the diet
2) Use the myfitnesspal app to keep track of cals and macros.
3) It's definitely possible to maintain or even increase strength on this diet
4) 5g glucose tabs and preworkouts (Mesomorph) help a ton with keeping intensity in the gym
5) Along with Lyle's required supps on this diet (potassium, salt, magnesium and calcium) I also took 7 keto DHEA. Look up the research online with how useful this supp can be. Basically, it keeps your metabolism from slowing down during dieting and preserves muscle mass. This may have helped some with fat loss
