200m+ euros was supposed to be obscene, but I don't think the details are set yet for public release.
FFP at it's finest.

Mbappe has handed in a transfer apparently.
It can't be the GOAT transfer window if Madrid doesn't make a retarded signing tbh. Dumb move from Mbappe as Monaco is perfect for him atm.Manchester United

Well that's why Rodgers is manager and I am not! Forrest with a great goal after missing for the first 60 minutes, and then 1 on 1 with the goalie he dribbles it into him. I still don't rate him, even though this is the second time he's bailed us out in CL qualifying (remember his goal against Karagandy?).
Draw on Friday. Don't want Be'er Sheva, even though we won 5-4 agg last year. Would take Qarabag or Astana.Celtic FC

Sorry but... That's not getting even close to a title. That's the best 11 Spurs can field and that's below the starting 11 of United, Chelsea, City and they are +- on par with Arsenal and Liverpool who both have 2 top or world class players surrounded with a few (English) kunts who are secretly average as fuk. Tottenham has the great advantage that their defence is still elite and their midfield are great at controlling the match, Kane can net a good amount of goals but... They don't have much on the bench atm.

European football until Christmas secured!
Shat it when Sviat got injured, but Bitton done well. Jozo done great. Tierney good first half, Sinclair great second half with tracking back. Disappointed with Armstrong. Hayes about as useful as Forrest before he came off. Griffiths good when he came on. Played smart and you saw an immediate difference with his sub.
Agree on Forrest, anonymous for 60 mins, didn't make any runs behind and stayed static up there. Great goal though, awesome finish. His one vs Karagandy too as you mention has got him a few important goals for us. Then that 1-on-1.. I did say he doesn't have the nuts between his legs for high pressure games like this, that 1-on-1 showed it. Imagine we got put out tonight after that miss.
Thought McGregor wasn't great until we scored the goal. I barely remember him on the pitch. Then after we scored, some of his passing/touches were great. Actually, some of our football after the goal was brilliant wasn't it? Calm at the back, passing between them, triangles, perfect. That might be the first time in such a high pressure situation I've seen us move the ball like that. The Rodgers effect was alive and well there.
Qarabag/Astana/Rijeka/Hapoel/Slavia Prague.
I agree, wouldn't want Hapoel. First choice would be Slavia Prague I think. Qarabag next.
2 more weeks of match fitness until first playoff game. Any further signings? Rodgers said nothing close in his post match, but hurry up and bring paddy home. No more dicking about, there's £30m at stake.
Let's hope for home match second leg. Then 'that' noise during CL anthem pre-match will set us up for a win over both legs.
Really pleased.
Also, you see we've got a pretty decent chance to be in pot 3 for CL? We need only one of Olympiakos, Liverpool, Sevilla or Napoli to get knocked out. Could be looking at European football well into the second half of next season, though I would have fancied us to finish 3rd place if we make the CL group stages in any case.

The money Barcelona get for Neymar can probably be used to force Liverpool to sell Coutinho. In turn, Liverpool can get a lot more quality players for all that money. Trinkle down economics works in the football world.
-
08-02-2017, 07:33 PM #6792
Except Coutinho really isn't worth more than 20m, but Liverpool are going to want atleast 150m just because the market is ridiculous and Barca just pocketed 200m. They should try to buy Hazard tbh he can't be worth more than 100m right now and is the kinda slimy kunt player to leave a Chelsea to go on to a bigger club.
Anyways, funny that Barca is trying to go against PSG and their shady oil money shenanigans after the whole Neymar saga, when fuking Barca did a bunch of shady shiet to get Neymar from Santos lmao. Barca ain't just a shady, scum club, they're also fuking hypocrites.Manchester United

Barcas problem isn't the transfer kitty, but rather the wage issue I imagine. La Liga has a limit wage outlay to 70% of budget, and Barca is pretty damn close to that. Some of their fringe players are earning more than RM's first teamers. Add in Messi's annual contract renewal thing u got a pretty big elephant to deal with every year. I last read Messi always get a contract renewal every year with wage increases except for 2 or 3 seasons in his entire Barca career...

You guys know a quality streaming website for soccer, haven't found a decent one. And would like to see my favorite team (Celtic) play a lot more this year. Also, from the US so I don't have access to like sky sports and stuff.

La Liga rejecting PSG's oil money lmao. Aren't release clauses mandated by La Liga so a player can gtfo if he as the money or another club wants him? Talk about a hypocrite league too.Manchester United

$240m plus wages of $500k a week post TAX!
Interested to know what the American folk on here make of this, theres certainly money in US sports, but from what I've seen organisations trade and swap players and pay the money to the player. Seeing a quarter of a bilion put down on a transfer fee alone, god damn.***Awaiting moon landing authorisation***

Its okay.
Cause those rich phucks at Qatar wrote Neymar $222 million check which he personally dropped off at Barca today lol.
This way the La Liga buyout clause doesn't apply.
La Liga just got cucked.
Neymar will be playing this Saturday for PSG.
Now question is who will Barca go after.
They have shiitload of money to spend.
............................
Interesting stat.

Except Barca were also complaining about PSG just throwing money out and being backed by a entire state/country when they literally pulled a bunch of shady shiet to sign Neymar and screw Santos from a bigger transfer fee. I mean do you not see how hypocritical and shady your club is? You can't be blind the Juve bros lol c'mon.
And the thing about that stat is only Man Utd's money is earned not given. Plus, United are actually going to win the CL.Manchester United

Hazard would be a good choice since he is fast and technical and plays on the left wing. He is also good at supporting plays. Supposedly one of the reasons why Neymar left was because with the arrival of Suarez, he was turned more into an assisting player than a goal scoring one due to the front three set up.

Barca are really a sinking ship at this point
-Never been the same without the Xavi/Iniesta/Busquets midfield
-Their stars (Messi/Suarez/Iniesta) are all the wrong side of 30 and on the downward trend
-Cant compete financially with RM, PSG, United6'1, 205 lbs
