From what? Excessive fiber? Water? Never had any "reliability" problems ever when cutting, besides drastically reduced frequency.

That's why i don't breathe until the farticles float to the back of the car.
Once the kids start yelling at me and rolling down the windows i know it's safe to breathe.

tfw you wake up with a Lindt milk chocolate truffle wrapper stuck to your elbow and you think that's bad until you realize there's a second uneaten white chocolate squished beneath you.

Drove 2 hrs away with kids to help friend move.
    Lost my car keys.
My dad drove out to get us because it was my only set.
monday, goto dealer, get new keys cut on fabulous high tech laser cutter.
    drive 2 hrs.
    keys don't work.

call lock smith, drive 25 mins. to lock smith.
Dude hand grinds a key based on a bunch of measurements he looked up on his computer.
    Drive 25 mins. back.
    Keys work.

drive 2 hrs home, go to dealer.
Can't get another key made because they are out of my chip blank because it's a 19yr old car.

    get refund.
get home at dark then work from home for a few hrs to do the stuff i couldn't delegate to others via email from my phone.

But, i now have the codes for my car and can get extra keys made anywhere if I provide a blank.
Which I can get for $5 online.

    pain in the ass.

Wow I'd lost it by then. I have an anger problem. Wouldn't help that I have 4 boys all under age of 7.

Wife leaving town for the weekend. No gym time sat and sun, as I am keeping 2 and she's taking 2. May have to tuff it out on the spin cycle and use my bands. Yard work is in the mix as well. May treat or spoil the 2 I keep. Wish we could go watch Guardians 2, but I'm keeping the youngest and he's 10 months.

When I starting buying cars with key pads to get in I used to hide a key inside the car because I was always terrified of this, except if I drive 2 hours away in any direction but south I'm now 2 hours from any city. And 2 could also be like 10.

Then when I got married I gave my wife one to keep in her purse. I figure if I'm already gonna be super pissed at losing a key, I might as well compound it with something as infuriating as her leaving it at home some place that no one could even have a chance at finding it and bringing it to me.

Been going hard on landscaping lately. Rocked an awesome deficit for about 10 days, then even for 2 but worked in ice cream, then binge ate last night for the first time in about a month. Grand scheme of things it's NBD, but I was just disappointed in myself because it was a few things that I could control that triggered it - like lack of water yesterday and not eating throughout the day. Laying some sod today and then I get to take a few days off from landscaping before I have to go out and buy some shrubs and such.

Dogs had killed 98% of the grass in the back yard so basically redid the whole back (phase 1, anyway. More to come) and ripped up half the front to help with the back and replacing some of the front today with sod. Had to dig a few drains, paint the deck and fence, fix some stuff, etc. Then we had a crazy 5-6 hour storm that ripped some facia off the house and threw my brand new BBQ off the deck. Fixed both those things.

Have also been doing some minor running and running stairs, not much for lifting, but I'm well on my way to fixing the damage done from Feb through April.

    I have new blanks coming.
Will be sequestering a spare set of keys somewhere on the car in case i lose them again.

    I'm fat.
fatter than last yr this time.
    I still have moobs.
At least since I lifted most of the winter i'm having an easier time muscling around the heavier chunks of wood into the splitter.

back to cutting cals and beer most importantly.
Now i'm biking in the morning and out side working.
    Unless it rains.
Then i'm in the basement working on purging 15yrs worth of stuff i've collected.

Built this fire pit over the weekend. This is big for me. Did it during a heat advisory in Oklahoma. Picked a wonderful day to do it. Only about 20 degrees cooler the next day. Next step is to incorporate a stone patio and rip up that hideous wooden plank deck the previous homeowner installed.

Love how they just non-chalantly frame it in to make it look ornamental. Nothing to see here, just another garden. Definitely not a secret underground lair.

picked up a 2hp hand held post hole digger from harbor freight.
    works bretty good.
drilled out 3 holes then used clam shell to clean them out.
popped 3 posts in the ground, poured in cement.

3 days later...it's damp and crumbly.
so gotta dig them all up and out and do it again.

never accept free "I got some bags in my basement" cement from family.
    Just go buy new.

Also ordered one of those triangular sun sails to hang over the hot tub to keep leaves and pine needles out and plan to hang one end lower to act as a privacy screen.

also going to paint fence when done.
My deck is a medium grey with light grey railings and dark blue/grey balusters.

Thinking of painting the fence that dark color.
need to consult multiple women before i take that plunge.

Their advice to put the keggerator on the covered porch and not on the deck by the hot tub paid off.

Fit bit died also it basically just cracked apart.
probably from wearing it while splitting firewood.
Way out of warranty did the whole tech support thing. didn't work.
Going to call back and see if they can do something for me.
If not not sure if I want a new one or something else.

cut down on beer and food and biking in the morning except it's the worst part of the yr.
    mother's day
    mom's b-day
    brother's b-day
    dad's b-day
    close friends b-day.
    father's day coming up.
    WTF?

that's about all i got going on now.

aaahahahaa This cracked me up. Like the "good" ol' days when I'd wake up, immediately check my call log to see who I called [and shouldn't have], then walk into the kitchen and see the remains of what gnarly food my intoxicated appetite threw together. It looked like someone blindfolded grabbed a bunch of stuff from the refrigerator and threw it in a pan. OK, the chocolates though... that would be an entirely different sort of intoxication. I'm not immune to it even without supplementation, but missing one... losing one... I'd have to be intoxicated. Thank god for hangovers.

Back when I was young and foolish, I used to have my roommate hide my phone when we got home from being out on the town -- otherwise, I'd be drunk texting half my contacts list. Along with killing my stash of emergency chocolate and begging to order out for pizza. Good times.

Because I know myself well, I timed this cut to coincide with Afghanistan because my Achilles' heel is wine -- wine, chocolate, and pizza on speeddial.
I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Good adventures, good stories that you have to be reminded of to recall. "Oh yah, now I do remember dancing through the graveyard. Where were we going?"

Great times to have had, but I'm glad they're over with the exception of the biennial hangover reminder.

    Drunk eater checking in.
would wake up on the couch with empty hot pockets from corner store on the floor after getting dropped off from the bar..
felt like one of those guys in the movies when they wake up next to a dead deer in the woods and not know what the hell happened.

    today: cut lawn
pulled 3 fence posts out of semi solid cement, re-dug holes by hand because motorized post hole digger doesn't work well with bad cement.
Imagine trying to use it on sand would be just as annoying.
it did break it up though so i had to use the clam shell hand digger.

home depot was out of 60lb bags so i had to buy 80lb.
    handled those like a boss.

reset those, then trimmed my shrubbery's from hell down.
busted up more old fence for the fire pit
cleaned the 12ft wading pool out and will get a "real" 14ft' normal depth pool.

    good day worked hard.

We've had 3 FitBits crack in half, wife is on the 4th and I just gave up. Just a bad product. The Charge 2 is stupider to have a metal chassis though so might give that a try. Also the sleep tracking is supposed to be excellent on their newest models. Was kinda waiting to see what Apple and other competitors would come out with. Apples WWDC is soon so maybe the Watch 3 will be mentioned, though I see no personal benefit to that over a Fitbit for my needs.

Last year when I did my concrete I was through 80-something 66lb bags. All hand mixed in a tub. Absolutely awful. Don't envy you.

If you post a pic of your deck/fence/yard I'll lend my input on colour, if you want. Women see more colors than men but aren't really any better with design. They just usually care more. Though I'm also not the one you have to listen to. Spent years doing colour/design consults, application/execution, and repping the largest paint brand in the world (at the time). Considerations with darker colours for a fence is what it's going to look like a few months from now.

Edit: Fitbit has been routinely known to give at least 30% off a new product if you call in cause yours broke through no fault of yours.

My dad has a cement mixer.
It's older than me but i managed to mix enough cement for the main deck in half a day.

When i finish my railings i'll post up picks. the railing i did 2 yrs ago still looks good with the dark stain.

I might try the cheap xiomi mi band 2.
it's $20 and reviews arn't too bad and something i can wear while working in the yard without worrying.
I also plan to call and see if I can get a discount on a new fit-bit.

Been a while since I checked in, went out of town for 2 weeks for work. Told myself I was going to eat healthy but came out on the other side not liking what I was seeing. Back at it again. Aiming for 170 by the end of the summer. Did 3 shorter hikes this weekend, maybe 20 km total but decent elevation gain. Now that work is less busy and the weather is nicer, I'll start walking to work again which really helped last year.

Week 1 after getting back on the grind. 184.1-179.9. Cutting on 2k calories, which is probably too low but i'll adjust after this week (first week likely mostly water). Hiking on weekends, walking to work, weights in the morning, HIIT at night. I find doing IF + eating massive chef salads helps with the hunger (low on calories but high volume).

Found out this week that it's impossible to kill fat cells whose number is determined by your health level in your earlier years (and I was obese during those years). That was kind of depressing lol. Oh well, no one ever said this was going to be easy.

Well, cap! There you are. Is it your brother who has the little person you love so?
And "If I'm this tired, I'd better just go to bed because if I don't I'm going to eat something and it's going to be chocolate."

Exercise stuff is going well, but I can't commit to a good long bulk apparently. It took so long to get rid of the fat I carried for too long that I can't seem to bear seeing even a little bit come back. This too shall pass when I trust myself again - and my strength plateaued (probably also from lack of commitment to a good consistent calorie intake) - so I'm trying to lose what I missed out on losing when I stopped a few months ago. I wasn't really done... just felt like I couldn't do it anymore.

Updates on the rebooted gym routine!

Oh, in on home projects. Here was our big spring project... I would have loved this at my little guy's age. Nevermind age, though. Now's my chance!

^That actually took a good while to put together. Otherwise, just looking for a good fire table set for the patio. I'll post pics when we find one. I can only find a good selection online, though, and then I have to base my decision on reviews of comfort, durability, etc.

    --

Paichka, I avoid my husband after he takes his preworkout. If I even pass him in the kitchen, he'll talk nonstop for 15 minutes.
