So someone's birthday is coming up soon and they said they got a small bottle of the Dior perfume for women "Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming". She said the sales person told her that it was a limited edition and only going to be available for like 3 months. Anyone have experience with something like that? Is it worth it to buy a $200 bottle and hang on to it to see if the value goes up? Or does it tend to stay about the same/go down? Just wondering if it's an investment or money-sink.


Edit: Actually found some youtube reviews saying that it has been out since August and no mention of being limited. Was that salesperson fraudin'?

Just got 5ml of Zara Tobacco Collection Rich, Seductive, Lucrative, Enigmatic, Horny, Eloquent in... Good grief this stuff smells amazing.

Just a quick half spray to the top of my hand and I can't stop sniffing it. Smells like something 3-5x the price. Time to buy a bottle.

SOTD: PE Red, I really think this scent works well with my skin. Projects really well.

Did about 20 sprays.....before you brahs get onto me again I can assure you we have some hard core *******s at my work that would say something if I was over powering.

I do get "hey I smelt you down the hall, GJDM!" So maybe I am doing something right?

I see the Rich, Warm, Addictive is selling for $40 which is twice what it costs in stores, but honestly, it's still worth it at 40 bucks. I might just buy that now and skip driving all the way across town to the mall.

It's fantastic, and an absolute steal for around $25'ish. Change the label on this to Chanel or Tom Ford and they could sell it for 3-5x what it sells for now. Coconut, of all things, is the first noticeable note than a couple minutes later you're welcoming tobacco, vanilla, and honey to the party. Together, they create an orgy of accords that is simply beautiful. I can't stop burying my nose down the front of my shirt and smelling myself.

As others have pointed out this is selling for around $40 on ebay, which is roughly twice what it costs in stores. Even at $40 it's a fkn steal. Highly recommended.

SMW is my all time, 100% uncontested GOAT perfume. Nothing even comes close to it IMO. If I had to give up all my chit, and wear just one perfume for the rest of my life, it would be SMW. I absolutely adore the stuff and I have a significant emotional attachment to it because of how I discovered it. I'm down to my last few drops, so I'll be picking up another bottle of it soon, plus bottles of Hamptons and Mefisto for the sake of comparison.

LOL. Yea i have had this 50ml decant for 5 years now and im probably down to about 3mls. I initially loved the frag until i became aware of the ink/metallic note. It is a bit too sharp at times for me. Sad part is i get complimented on it almost anytime i wear it (happened yesterday with a co worker who usually complains about frags, she likes it a lot). I have also owned decants of Hamptons and Mefisto, i like this style of frag, but doubt ill ever get a full bottle of any of them. I love that SMW white bottle tho..

Its not really similar to Eau De Baux of Tobacco Vanille as it is not really spicy. Its more of a creamy vanilla frag with coconut in it and some tobacco. excellent frag regardless of the pricepoint once it settles down from the initial harsh opening.

I have both. I think the EDB is a better fragrance, has more of a cedar note than the Zara. But at twice the price (or more), the Zara is a better value for brahs on a budget. And neither really smells like TV to me.

Not in the same realm at all. The EDB and TV are a lot more "grown up" and def more spicy. Zara is a lot more youthful, sweet and playful.

SOTD: Kielhls Cederwood and Vannila. Now this is a lot closer to TV and EDB and damn good at that.

Now I have had a bottle since 2015 that I've only used 3 times and put it up for sale last month, but luckily it didn't sell yet cuz I'm in love with it for some reason now. Also spring is just around the corner so this scent will do for sure.

I got a decant of it, and really like the smell. Not *sure* if it's proper for work, but fuk it, I'm wearing it.

Seems very low on projection, not sure if that's the case, or if it's just me. Any thoughts? I *did* keep the sprays low (three, with one more down the shirt) - maybe it's the kind of scent I should just spray liberally.

Definitely, especially if you're interested in one or two fragrances.

Never had an issue getting sample vials from the TF counter (Saks or Nordstrom) or from the Creed counter at Saks. Just make sure they have what you're looking for at your location
