She'll put up with it because she thinks she's getting a trip and an amazing evening. She isn't. On the day of her birthday go completely NC. Do not respond to calls, texts, etc. Leave your home so she can't come find you there - be drinking at a bar or friend's or something. Know that the day before the birthday will be the last time you ever see or speak to her. Priming her for a huge letdown will be immensely satisfying and way more devastating to her than if you went NC now. She needs to learn a lesson. Teach her.
