Way the world works. Once you hit red or high green theres no coming back.
Have to claim bankruptcy and start a new account. I love this one though and somewhat proud of join date so haven't been able to do it yet.

How about the prestiging idea?
Reset it to 250k cap...and every 250k you hit it resets to 0, however you get a rank number added next to your username somewhere like RANK 2. So someone like Evo hitting 1mil would actually be RANK 4. With a cool emblem.
Its make ranking up hard but the higher the rank starting from scratch but ppl will know ur a quality poster.
Sounds like itd piss people off but if the point of reps is being a good poster itll prevent constant trading and being a good poster keeps its value by rank.
Also the rank number is just an option it could be A, B, C...color of your username...whatever. something to keep users happy and keep a level playing field
Also if 250k is too high, 125k and itd keep the rep powers lower and ranks faster to obtain

These are all great ideas but I'm not sure everyone realizes just how technically limited the options are. Adding a badge or new color would require adding a new usergroup. That's not possible because the way BodySpace integrates with the forum, no new groups can be created. There are hacks/add-ons and coding changes that can be done but that requires being prioritized into the workflow and that simply has never been the case.
I don't really have anything to offer for removing reps but it can't stay the way it is now, there will be overlaps and it has to be addressed.

all in all this would be good, people will actually provide the luls and post their opinions now instead of fearing getting one bombed straight into the red sea by some ******* with 560k rep.
also @ FS why are there so many fkd up restrictions on this forums settings / the way it runs, never seen anything like it.RIP BIG RICHARD

If you really care so much about the green squares getting mass reps is easy.
1. Join KNEE DAGGERS crew
2. Join Firearms Crew
3. Join Music crew - R.I.P.
There's no active rep trading you can see but every single member of those crews I've seen who actively post who even have <1000 posts are all in the 20k+ rep area.
If green squares really matter in your life.___________________

ForumSentinal, would you agree that the countless chit posters on the Misc are more of a threat to the site's popularity and money making capabilities than the high rep counts of decent posters? I've read so many posts of people getting fed up with how poor the content on the forum is getting with too many chit troll jobs etc. Wouldn't efforts be better spent trying to find ways to prevent these people from bringing the tone of the site down? Many people have suggested having a minimum post requirement before making new threads - this isn't hard to implement and it would make a world of difference. Sometimes you log in and half of the front page is troll topics from *******s with 1-2 posts.

can it be made that once you hit 10,000 reps, can't rep other people with 10,000 or higher but can still neg them instead? stops rep trading at high limits, forces you to still rely on the lower rep peasants to keep increasing your rep instead of always trolling them without consequences.
well, that was easy enough. just let me know what else yall need fixed.Type 1 ginger that took MT2 for 5+ years and now getting mistaken for African descent crew:
