Pretty much what the above poster said, those who were realistic knew what to expect. Those who thought he was going to be top 10 for certain, top 6 very likely, were embarrassed and shaken. I can't imagine what those who thought he could place top 3, let alone win, must be feeling.
Levrone was Straight Dave (Bruno), his fans were the overhyped hilbilly. I think this is a perfect parallel.

His upper body was good enough to potentially place had his carb up and tanning/oil been a bit more on point, but his legs were obviously not anywhere near relevant.
If he's healthy enough to continue to actually train properly for a complete season I can totally see him placing in the middle of the pack in some smaller shows. Maybe even grab some podium finishes by mid season next year.
Because say what you will, but his Upper body isn't half bad. And with some more work and on point dieting he could definitely beat a lot of guys. The real question is whether or not he can properly train his legs (someone mentioned a health issue). Because I don't think it's impossible to improve them, despite his age.Owner of:

Not disappointed, just shocked, shocked in 2 ways, one was the sight of his legs, yes I had to look away. Second shock is how he actually held his own in some poses (upperbody front) with the best in the world, his arm size was appreciable in the front lat spread and side chest.
Good that he created some pre Olympia buzz.Smarten up? NO! SPARTAN UP!
