What are your guys' thoughts on Abercrombie&Fitch's cologne called Fierce? Have been using it for a couple years now but I'm considering trying something new if there's anything better for a similar price

Have you guys ever worn a scent that had some random chick you've never spoken to before give you a crazy nice compliment?

Hmmm makes me wonder about Fragrancenet tbh. Unless there are batch variations with Amouage (technically possible).
Btw I did my own test of VINTAGE Interlude (2012) on one arm and 2015 Interlude on the other and found NO differences in smell, strength or longevity. Much to my surprise. "Fairly obvious it was reformulated to be weaker." I can't agree.
I was tracking all perceived differences between both over several hours. But gave up writing things down in my notepad, because there were none, and it was a silly/pointless exercise (that would only lead to my brain inventing "perceived" differences).

brah i know dem sloots be eating up ur neck in the club
brah what youre looking for doesnt exist
ive gotten random compliments from aventus island water, lyric man, tuscan leather but these are far from my most complimented frags
as a signature scent (inly wearing 1 frag) you want the scent to compliment you really....different scents have different vibes.. you need one to match your personality and mixes well with your skin
only way is to go out and test frags"Take account of yourselves before your are brought to account."

Best I can recall is a nice looking chick in line behind me at the supermarket stating, "I wish my husband smelled like you do, I'd **** him every day."
And no, I don't remember what I was wearing.

Interesting, I just got that one recently. Haven't worn it much - yet I know it's really likeable and would probably get me compliments ... but I keep wanting to reach for the more daring/edgy scents that no-one really likes instead ... I must be turning into one of those "niche" guys lmao

One thing I have learnt is to not wear fragrance to get compliments because if thats your reason you will most likely be disappointed. Even if someone can smell you and likes the smell, odds are they wont say anything.
I have had a few but never a total stranger come up to me and say "OMG you smell so amazing!!"
I have had my cousin tell me at a family gathering that I smelt "really good". I was wearing Versace MEF.
A girl I was seeing a while a back loved when I wore Fahrenheit. She said it smells "tough". I got a laugh out of that one
A lady I deliver to regularly probably gave me my biggest compliment. The interaction went like this-
Lady: "You arent like a normal delivery driver"
Me: "Whats a normal delivery driver like?"
Lady: "Well most delivery guys are grumpy and smell bad, you are always happy and always smell great"
Me: "Thanks" with a smile.
The girl I buy my frags from always guesses what I am wearing when I walk in. She most often says "not Fahrenheit again!" jokingly, but she has told me she doesnt really like it.
One lady I deliver to rang my boss and complained that my fragrance affected her allergies. My boss ( a fragrance wearer himself) told me and just said "she can hold her breath" haha
So as you can see, this is from about 6 months of wearing fragrance everyday. It also depends alot on environment you are in daily. For example a guy that works in an office with alot of women that know him, will most likely get alot more compliments

For the most part this is true and most people will keep it to themselves in day to day life.
But if they know you or are in a social environment like a bar/club it's usually comment galore.
Also nothing like getting into a car heading to the beach and 2 girls in the backseat go what smells so good as you ride in the front and have the wind blowing back on them

Ah yes, this is the big exception. I was just referring to day to day stuff. I get the feeling that alot of guys new to fragrances think that women will start throwing themselves at you if you wear the latest "pantie dropper" but yeah in a social environment, smelling great can be a great ice breaker

Alright boyos, I'm leaving for a weekend bachelor party Saturday/Sunday and doing the Kentucky bourbon trail with fancy dinner at a steak house, bar hopping, etc and need a recommendation. Possibly one for the day and one for the evening?
I need one scent to bring, help me out here. Will be in and out of the limo going from distillery to distillery, back to the hotel in the evening to shower and change, then out to dinner and a night out. High 80's temps, typical muggy midwest summer weather.
Recommend something here. I've created a monster with too many choices and my brain locks up in situations like this. My default is Sauvage because it's good day or night and lasts forever, but you pros know better than I do. Help a brutha out.

I had a guy who did some landscaping for me come by to settle up one night, he had the nicest smelling cologne I'd ever smelled before. When I asked what it was he said A&F Fierce. Instead of getting a sample I just bought a bottle but the one I got is very soapy especially in the dry down. The one he had is what I would classify as aquatic and blue, not soapy at all, so now that you said that I wonder if he had an older formula. I layered it the other day with VIW and the coconut in the VIW softened the soapy smell of my bottle of Fierce to create something amazing.

Sauvage would be good but in humid heat could get a bit much. My opinion from your list is the safe option classic Acqua Di Gio.
I wont lie, attracting women is part of it, same as keeping in shape, staying looking as young as I can, dressing well but I wouldnt do any of these things if I didnt love doing it for myself. I mean if I just did it for women, I would just buy 1 million and CK one and call it a day. Most of my favourites are not universal crowd pleasers, like Fahrenheit and Kouros
Wearing frags really gives me that little confidence boost and I feel it sets me apart because where im from not alot of guys wear fragrance
