I'm actually looking to buy this one next week.
https://556tactical.com/product/556-...-stryker-comp/
Got a new upper shipping in from 22mods4all.com. One of those super cheap $230 uppers w/ melonite barrels. Really curious to see it. Going to put that comp on it.I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

Recommend me a belt for IWB holsters. Would prefer something in black that doesn't look gay or tactical. Standard leather belt would be nice.
Also, may want to try appendix carry. Recommend me a holster for that (for a G26).
This is for research purposes of course.Misc Firearms Crew

For appendix carry . . . Incog. But . . . I liked IWB at 4:00 - 4:30 a ton more and switched to that after trying AIWB first. You may find you like appendix. For non-appendix, I like my White Hat MicroTuck, but may also look at the Stealth Gear holster like Farles just got.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Am I the only one not outraged that the police named a suspect who wasn't the actual shooter? People seem to be making such a big deal about it, but why wouldn't a guy who was wearing camo and carrying a rifle in the nearby vicinity of a shooting be considered a suspect? It's not like police shot him, beat him, or even arrested him. They brought him in as a suspect, questioned him, then let him go when they found out it wasn't him.

Well I know he turned himself in. His friend or brother or someone called him and said they were looking for him. But what I'm getting at is, why is it so outrageous for the police to identify a guy that was wearing camo and carrying a rifle nearby when the shooting happened? All they did was talk to him, find out he was innocent and let him go. Where's the travesty that I'm missing that's causing other people to be so mad about it?
I think people hear the word "suspect" now and just take it as meaning "culprit". So when someone is named a suspect, they basically believe that this IS the person who did it and not a person who was suspicious and we want to talk to.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Because he's innocent, there's no need to reveal his identity any more than they did beforehand when he was a person of interest. I'm sure most people wouldn't want any antis or BLM racists or whoever else having their name to be able to more easily look them up for stupid crap.

I hate to be like this, but the reports are that he used an SKS. The media is calling it an SKS semi-automatic assault rifle. It's probably scumbag of me to be relieved it wasn't an AR15. Not that it won't stop liberals from screaming for AWB and more gun control.

But they didn't know his identity. They sent out a picture saying "help us find this guy". How would they have ever found him otherwise? I wouldn't want my name out there either, but I would fully expect it to be under these circumstances. I could see if the police saw him and picked him up, then released his name as a suspect, only to release him a couple hours later, but they literally had no way of finding or identifying him so they released his picture to the public to help find him. If anything it's the media who ran with it that people should be mad at, but that's what they do...gotta be the first to report it regardless of accuracy.

I haven't been keeping up, but I was under the impression that they released his photo as person of interest and nothing more. And didn't learn his identity until later after bringing himself in for questioning. If so, then it wouldn't have been until after he was cleared that his name was released and shared, and that just seems kinda chitty.

I'm not sure how his name was released to the press. I was under the impression that they released the photo, he turned himself in, they talked to/released him, then he/and or his brother or someone went on a media tour about how he was falsely accused and how police lied to him and said they had video of him. I could be wrong...that's happened before...but I think the guy himself went to the media complaining about how he was falsely accused. I thought that was how his name came out.
No matter what it sucks being falsely accused, but most of the people I've heard complaining about it were more pissed that they circulated his photo and called him a suspect, when he didn't do it.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Sword....you're a cool ass dude, and you and I go way back here....but you're absolutely wrong here.
This guy may not have been actively running now around with a BLM shirt on, but he most certainly followed everything they did, their social media, their message and their agenda.
Please do NOT make the mistake that moderate Islam is making. This needs to be rebuked and denounced. Clearly, and quickly.
Early indications are that many in the black community are unwilling to do so.
